Palins new job at FOX news

  2012 is a LONG way away. I honestly wouldn't bet any large sums of money against her.

  Does her signing a multi year contract with FOX allow her to continue her political aspirations without having to grant any interviews to any other network because of stipulations in said contract?

  IMO, her own interests are more important than her constituents which is not ok when you are holding political office. As US citizens it is ok to put your self interests first, but when you hold public office, the people you represent now become the priority. Just like parents to children should be a politician to his/her constituents.

  It makes her better for realizing she isn't a politician. There are maybe a dozen people in Congress that actually care about the people they represent, the rest are there trying to pad their pockets. That is why I applaud Mrs. Palin for lining her pockets without getting paid by the taxpayers.

  At least she resigned. Most continue to hold political office. Although I know what you are trying to say, the parent/child analogy when referring to politicians and their constituents makes me cringe.

  I agree, I am glad she resigned and realized that she cares more about the money than public service. Nothing wrong with that, what is wrong is when someone gets elected to public office to further their own personal agenda instead of the people they represent. Most politicians do this. Lie to get elected and then do as they please. Hard to combat apparently.

  The US has some of the smartest people ever to roam the planet. Yet, wars and amassing of debt are problems that have escalated over the past 40 years.
