Republican Primary: Who DID You Vote For?

  • SnotBubbles
Will be interesting to see who the OC nominated.

Once you've voted, vote on this poll. It is private, so be honest.

Wish Santorum was still in. He would have received my vote. Even though Santorum was still on the ballot the best I could offer was a vote for Cruz.

Rand Paul would have been my choice amongst those who were running. I am not a huge fan of anyone but I voted Kasich because at the least he has a pretty good record and isn't a lunatic and he could beat Clinton/Sanders.

In the general, unless Kasich somehow wins , I will probably be voting libertarian for the 2nd time in a row. I was going to vote for the Republican candidate regardless this time. I cannot vote for trump. I could possibly pull the lever for Cruz

Not sure if I will vote today, but Kasich would get my vote.

Kasich today, and hopefully he can win here and a pathway can be charted to get the nomination at the convention.

Outside of that, if Trump ends up being the nominee I will vote for him over the (lying) socialists in a heartbeat.

Please go vote for Kasich. Please.
  • rrfan
So you want to vote Kasich who can't even win the Republican party but will beat Hillary and Clinton...? Would love to see how that works.

    I will take Trump.

Just like in sports, it's all about matchups. This was a pretty dumb post.

Unfortunately I see some smart people supporting trump too, especially after the riot/protest in Chicago cancelled his rally. Trump wasn't kidding when he said the protest energized people.

We will see. You have the right to think so. Kasich is so far behind it is just hard to see a path for him to beat Clinton. I also look at the other side and say no matter who wins the Republican nominee should be able to beat Hillary.

I am just not willing to see more of the same career politician. Tired of it and want a business man in there.

    lol...awesome logic.

Far more than he loves logic. Trump's the sort of guy who will drive a lot of moderates towards the D side. Kasich's the sort of guy who has the potential to get those moderates back to the R side. Drumming up support amongst the "we're fed up with stuff" demographics of your party stops meaning as much after the primaries are over (much like Bernie with the Ds -- nothing against the dude or his intentions, but I don't see his policies being that appealing to moderates). It's good for keeping your voting core together so they hit the polls in November, but the focus generally needs to be placed more on being attractive to the people who don't vote straight D or R.

Trump supporter just echo whatever Trump says in the hightlights from the nightly news. Its unfuckingbelievable.

I am sure the record turnout to vote in many places are because of Cruz and Kasich?

Which person does ISIS not want to be president? Which one do the current career politician not want to win? Why is that?
  • Automatik
I don't know the answers to those questions.

Do you? If yes, please share and elaborate. I'm interested.

I don't know either...but it has to mean something. It was a true question.

I'm not sure why the opinion of ISIS matters. ISIS isn't going to like any American President; it's not like the next President is just going to ignore them entirely and stop bombing them.

Congrats though on voting for a complete moron in the Primaries. If Trump wins the Ohio primary, I would never be more embarrassed for my home state. I think of my home state as one of the great states in the country full of intelligent, respectful and good people. A win for Trump would completely throw that all out of the window. What a disaster. Go Find Yourself.

We're going at ISIS regardless who is POTUS. We rekt them last week, but it got little publicity.

The beautiful thing is I don't hate you for not voting the way I did. You must be racist.

If Trump gets the nomination, I don't know what I'll do in November. I'm as moderate as they come. If the nomination was Bernie, I'd probably go blue. With Hillary, it's hard to say.

I don't agree with who you voted for rrfan, but I respect your opinion and the fact that you stand up for what you believe in. The thing is, people who have similar political opinions to you are becoming the majority in the republican party, but are bullied into silence by individuals who feel they are far superior intellectually and that only their opinion is the correct one.

Keep campaigning for what you believe in.

I live in Florida so I voted Rubio.

Your logic is hard to follow. Believe me.
