The Strong Conservative Governors Have Been Eliminated from the Republican Primary

  With the exit of Bobby Jindal, the strong conservative governors that made up the deep bench of the Republican Party's presidential prospects have been mostly eliminated. The two remaining in Kasich and Christie are now considered to be moderates and have little apparent chance of breaking out of the doldrums.
  
  If you asked me last year I would have never guessed that they would all be out of it.

  Herman Cain...the classic example of what happens to black conservatives who threaten the liberal plantation owners....the MSM 'gotcha' bombardment that Ben Carson is now enduring. At least this time around, the public is a little more wary of the tactic, and Carson, for his part is holding up well to the intense scrutiny and even gone on the offensive. Still the dirt digging continues relentlessly, and Carson has slipped a bit in the polls.

  Ben Carson and Herman Cain have been their own undoing because they say, believe and do stupid things. e.g. Cain staring blankly at a reporter repeating "Libya, Libya, Libya...which one was that again?" and Ben Carson spewing word salad on foreign policy matters.

  I would agree that they both look stupid and ignorant and are responsible for their own failures in that respect. However are these any worse than Hillary Clinton while caught in a bold faced lie coughing and lifting whatever was in her coffee mug saying that her false recollection was because of sleep deprivation? Also lets not forget the reset button.

  Oh and Cains undoing came when the political opposition dug up a white blonde women calculating that white conservatives would not vote for a black man that forced himself on one of their women. As for Carson as long as his poll numbers remain high they are tirelessly searching every hospital for that white blonde nurse.

  Carson is an idiot and a complete detriment to the Republican Party. If the party had any spine it would put its damn foot down and make sure Rubio Bush and Kasich would be battling for the nomination

  I'm equally as curious as to why you think the party should offer Bush and Kasich as nominees - as in, what makes them such better options.

  Carson is probably a competent surgeon, but he's absolutely an idiot in other respects and has no business running for President. The fact that he and Trump are still at the top of the polls essentially gifts the Presidency to Hillary. She may beat the GOP candidate by more than Obama beat Romney in the last election.

  Gosh a ruddies oh yeh he got a free pass, few examples attacks on Obama for his minister, his supposed association with Bill Ayers, the claim Michelle was some kind of black militant, that he is a racist.
  The birthers claim held by a large part of the Republican Party that he was a Kenyan Muslim. Gosh who was the leading birther, why the current leading candidate for the Republican nomination.

  My problem with Rubio is he's pretty much the Republican version of Obama - inexperienced but charismatic, never had a real job and is most likely using politics as a path to personal fortune. He does actually seem genuine, at least.

  I think Rubio is probably the favorite after the junk of Carson and Trump. With that said, I don't think Rubio beats Clinton. I think Romney is the GOP's only chance but he seems to rebuke any attempts to get him to enter the race.

  Come on Boat, even you have to admit anytime a type of scrutiny even CLOSE to what Carson has endured already, came to Obama, it was IMMEDIATELY labeled as racist.

  Carson has said some dumb things, but Obama also talked about visiting the 53 states and did the media hammer him for that? Nope, no one outside of Rush Limbaugh et al did.

  obama has used federal agencies to go after The People (conservatives people, that it), yet he gets a complete pass despite the greatest abuse of power in presidential history. It is not because he is black (now); it is because he is a mega liberal.

  MSM doesn't cover/scrutinize democrats like it does PUBs. So when media outlets do ask questions/probe, they are undercut and labeled "right-winged" and are distanced even further when MSM outlets villify and bully those individuals or groups that say anything questioning a dem.
