  The relevant facts are:
  1. At the time of the mountain being named Mount McKinley, Alaska was a US possession.
  2. President Wilson was exercising his legal power in naming the mountain.
  3. McKinley was worthy of the honor as a Civil War veteran and martyred US President
  4. Alaskans should be honored to have McKinley's named applied to anything in their loser backwater.
