How is this going to work out?

So BP spills a ton of oil into the GOM and we all get up in arms. We curse them and demand they make it right (which they did, to the best of their ability) then on top of that we tell them "that's not enough, we need $10 billion." I think we all agree that the BP spill was the result of overconfidence in their design (sic. incompetence to some degree) and was in no way intentional.

Flip side of the coin: http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/09/us/colorado-epa-mine-river-spill/

"An estimated 1 million gallons of waste water spilled out of an abandoned mine area in the southern part of the state last week, turning the Animas River orange and prompting the Environmental Protection Agency to tell locals to avoid it."

    "
According to the EPA, the spill occurred when one of its teams was using heavy equipment to enter the Gold King Mine, a suspended mine near Durango. Instead of entering the mine and beginning the process of pumping and treating the contaminated water inside as planned, the team accidentally caused it to flow into the nearby Animas River. Before the spill, water carrying "metals pollution" was flowing into a holding area outside the mine."

Is there any outrage, namely from Colorado residents who are by-in-large some of the greatest opponents to mining and oil and gas exploration? Doesn't seem to be. If the mining company had done this while the mine was active what would the outcry have been?

Imagine the fish kill ...........oh and the birds and other waterfowl, and the other animals who used it as a water source; oh my. The EPA administrator and most department heads MUST go to jail on criminal charges....... just like BP, right.

Would love to see the EPA hold themselves to the same standards as they do to innocent people who "violate" their bullshit arbitrary "wetlands."

Where is Obama .... hiding, coward, clueless .... no sign of him bashing when it his administration, his epa and the fault of his administration.

I see no action take yet, no sign of support, no EPA heads addressing what they plan to do.......
