And they likely got 10,000+ applications, and are hiring a dozen.

There is no way that Chase is hiring 700+ in Columbus, when they just laid off thousands in Charlotte and New York. Most of these work listing are just fishing by headhunters to get resumes.
They are real listings and they are hiring 750 people. They are all on the Chase website. They laid off folks in mortgage and branches. They are still growing like crazy otherwise. Hell I think they need like 1200 financial advisors nationwide due to their new structure. Same goes for personal bankers.

There you go, so normal, intelligent people don't have to deal with fucking idiots like QQuaker.

It is still fishing. I know many people at Capital One, and according to their website they are hiring thousands in Virginia. The reality is that they are just looking for CVs/resumes. Again, if they need warm bodies why wouldn't they just transfer the people they laid off? How many of these "advisors" are 1099 contractors?

They transfer those who have high performance ratings. I think the net is like 5000 total layoffs out of 20,000 positions eliminated.

    No Chase employees are 1099.

I know unemployment is high for Psychology degrees, but how many people are graduating with a Psychology degree and are unemployed? I wouldn't bet that the unemployment rate is high because of those individuals.

And, what is a degree not worth getting? Some would say getting a JD would be worthwhile and help get some money...but law jobs are hard to come by.
Wouldn't it depend on what kind of psych degree? A bachelors is pretty worthless.

Give me a break, Obama on 2 Ferns is probably one of the LEAST concerning things any President has ever done. Yet, here we are with people in here completely overreacting to it.

Not sure who you mean that is/are overreacting, but to me it is just par for the course with this guy. I mean really, every economic metric is in the tank, many by historic proportion (all after 5 - 6 years in by the way), and yet the NBC Today show runs this clip with gloating about how funny he his, blah, blah, blah ............. all the while black unemployment remains at record levels, but of course that is hush hush, along with any other serious critique of the record. Amazing, but not surprising. So, hey, why not continue along with the comedy shows, vacations and golf, it is obvious most people don't care what is really going on, and nobody is going to call him on anything. He's a funny guy .........wonderful.
