    Suppose, If most blacks wanted affirmative action...couldn't it just as easily be because that's what most blacks want as opposed to what most liberals want.... a trait shared by a lot of black folks?

    I think that Richardson's position is more related to some kind of intra-ethnicity type of thing than being about liberals per se.

    It does not unnerve me that such a person gets a vote and constitutional protection. What that he is unjustifiably prepared to take arms against the very public architecture and regulated capitalist system that provides those rights, his freedom, and the chattels he surrounds himself with.

    The rest of your despicable statement shows how far we have fallen as a people. You are a progressive, but you celebrate our regression from the first nation to recognize the rights we are born with all the way back to the king that was gracious enough to take care of the peasants that occupied his kingdom. "Public architecture" and the "regulated capitalist system" provide for nothing but the wealth and power of the ruling class that operates them, by stripping us of our rights and freedom.

    The whole Constitution was, or it would have delegated the federal government the power to regulate the "capitalist system" and build public architecture.

    Right, that's what I was going for. I guess I said Bill of Rights just because we are specifically talking about amendments. But I think that statement by Boatshoes sums up the leftist view quite well.

    Yes absolutely. But when one of them strays off the plantation and some democrat talking head tells us how this individual can no longer be defined as black, anyone with and ounce of intelligence gets the political strategy,

These loose cannons could go off at anytime. The poll that inspired this thread is an attempt to portray this thought as mainstream permeating the republican party.

    Yeah....like people who know anything about guns/military are going to take on the U.S. Army with a semi automatic .22 rifles.:p
    It does 'work' on the general public though, and that's why they use it.
    I think it is also to portray conservatives as objects of derision, of being paranoid "rubes" a term that they bandy about with impunity. Don't let slip a slur about any of their favorite "groups" or the PC media will crucify you. But rubes and 'Muricans" (as boatshoes put it)....it is just a joke! It has been a hallmark of this administration to divide and split and classify groups to their political advantage.

    I think gun and ammo hoarding is less about overthrowing the government, and more about the collapse of government which some people see as inevitable considering the continuing of suspect economic policies, and the inabilty or unwillingness to change them.

Those within those groups who hold different views are marginalized, ostracized, called names/slurs. Sarah Palin is ****, Ann Coulter is *****, Hermain Cain is an ****....and middle class white people who don't suck from the government teat are rubes.
