    My first take is that you Jerry Fletcher types will drum up anything about anything. Oh, and you're the ones who shouldn't be allowed to purchase guns because of your extreme mental illness.

    According to the logic of the President, Joe Biden, Jay Carney, et al, any policy that saves "just one life" is automatically a noble and just policy worth moving heaven and earth to pursue.

    Under that logic there are thousands of activities that require the intervention of the federal government in order to eliminate it and thereby save people's lives. :rolleyes:

    I can't justify an illegal drone program that kills innocent civilians and breeds more terrorism. No.

    I can't justify invading countries under the guise of the "war on terror" when in reality the only thing we care about is controlling their resources (oil, drugs, etc). No. Oh yeah, this also leads to the unnecessary loss of American's lives.
