  Having dealt with the Secret Service personally this shit doesn't surprise me. The thought process behind some of the things they discussed with me during my investigation was absolutely laughable. One example: there are only two types of people in the world, liars and those who don't lie. Think back to when you learned right from wrong, say age 5 or 6. If you've lied since then, yes, even as a child, you are a liar for life and cannot be trusted. Derp.

  That's true except, of course, you happen to be a Secret Service agent. They must swear on a stack of worthless dollars that they have never lied in order to qualify for the job.

  I have a buddy who applied to the FBI and he had to take a lie detector test. Apparently the questions they as you are really disturbing and they told him it would be better to give a disturbing truthful answer than to lie. He didn't get accepted but I wonder what kind of shit they ask.

  Getting into the FBI is really tough!! The background checks are crazy. Cant even do drugs within the past 10 years.

  My brother in law was just accepted a little less then a month ago. Had 4 different interviews in Chicago.
  
  My uncle has been in the FBI since I was little. He got divorced over it. Constantly gone, can't say where he is and can't talk to his family a lot. Eventually his wife just couldn't take it anymore.
