Try reading a statistics book so you can understand how you are being manipulated. Enjoy!

Lots of laughter. WTF do you call drones killing Pakistanis daily? Obama is killing Muslins in 4 different countries. Don't need to know where you get your news from.

The list of companies announcing mass layoffs is growing by the hour since yesterday. Good times ahead.

    Here is my dilemma:

I can close my companies (make some money on the property or keep it) lick my wound, file loses or company bankrupt and walk away, adding my employees to the unemployment stats, commission sales reps with nothing, customers without product for a time, eliminate all business related taxes local, state and federal and elimination of my personal taxes to the government. If I stay open those employees will be cut to 29 hour per week and some let go. Apply ne terms to customers and potential pricing increase. Barebones operation and the employees take the hit… hate doing that but this is what it comes down to
I could will file early SS (I’m 63) and collect about $300.00 less that if I filed at 66. Collect my military disability which is over $15,000 per year tax free but would not apply as earned income. Work for a friend who will pay me the maximum I can receive on the books $15000.00 and apply the reminder salary to creative thinking. I can also start a side business on cash only term for additional income …. no taxes not record
With all this in play and depending on the side business I would be making between $68000.00 or $72000.00 per year tax free. As a small business owner this is what all this comes down to …. personal survival or barebones business operation.

I love working, the excitement of problem solving; employing people and the relationship with customers… you can’t put a price on that. I love working ….
But I can’t stay in business with Obamacare, increase in business and personal taxes….

What to do, what to do

If your company is not making any money then you are offering a shitty product/service or your a terrible owner. Which is it?

    Wow, doggie...sounds like GM.

There's your answer Belly...you need a bailout. Then you can cut staff and open a factory in China!

Bigdogg understandable that you think anyone that makes a profit, acquired the America dream is producing a bad product or service and is an evil person. But when all you know is social service entitlement it is hard to grasp what work, dedication and smarts can accomplish.

    right belly
work, dedication and smarts lead Barack Obama, our first African American President, to two terms in the white house.
where as mitt, the spoiled rich kid, lost.

I am expecting Obama to exact revenge and dole out punishments on those that don't stand with him on the issues.

I actually see minor progress here and there.
The cliff will be walked back, tax code will be tweaked, and the main problems will be punted for later.
So, in the next weeks, a small agreement on taxes and sequestration.

Slowly, but surely, taxes and the budget will be tweaked here and there. But, nothing major will get done. (Sidenote, I expected the same with Romney too).

On the Foreign policy front, cyber security dominates everything, and a more coherent strategy emerges.
    Syria continues to fall apart.
Iran continues with sanctions, and dialogue starts, but the main issue still remains. But, Iran does not go above 20% enrichment.

The administration finishes the pivot to Asia.
And, drones continue, especially in Africa/ Yemen.

The biggest debt creator in history. I half expect to see him in the ComEd office at some point trying to work out a plan to get the printing press turned back on.

Gosh a ruddies what does history show us.
    1. During the FDR administration the national debt was at its highest % of gdp, higher than today.
    2. Our current debt problems began with Reagan and Bush 2. When Ronnie was elected debt was only 30% GDP, when Clinton came into office it was 65%. Clinton aided by Bush 1 tax raises lowers it below 60%, then George II takes it close to 90% and leaves his successor with an enormous debt and the worst economic situation in 70 years. Our debt problems were made under Republican administrations.

I expect more plutocracy, we in the USA are a plutocracy and it will stay that way, until more Republicans get into power and we will eventually become an Oligarchy.

WOW, now you know what I think! Your GOOOOD:) I have successfully ran and expanded my business for 25 years. Started with 6 employees and now have 65. All this and I still don't set the price for my services, the state pays me as little as they can. No rate increases since 2005. I would love to see how you would do in my field. You are a sad, angry little man. Life is to short, you need to retire with your millions and move somewhere that makes you happy.

And they are laying off because Obama became President again? Sounds like extortion to me. Vote for Republicans so we can make more profits and pay less or suffer the consequences. Yep plutocracy is correct.

Correlation does not equal causation. Sour grapes more like.

Might not be an actual majority when everything is counted.

The man asked who was laying off employees; I answered the question as to which companies I had heard were making layoffs today; there are many more to come as our growth continues to slow down and we go into another recession. Buzz off.
