    Does your company have a policy wherein you should have more diversity than was contained within this programming team? If so why did you not follow those policies until it was so last minute that you had to hire a terrible employee just to satisfy those demands? And if not, then what the hell were you doing?

    There's no official policy but it looks bad if you hire a bunch of white people. Christ do you even have a job with a salary? The most incompetent people that I work with are minorities because they are handed everything to them in life and only get jobs/education because of the color of their skin.

    Right, so you're just a racist motherfucker and in a desperation move to look not racist you hired a black woman programmer to maximize on the diversity and since you did it really quickly it turned out poorly. Because, shockingly, a journalism major who doesn't know C++ doesn't make a very good C++ programmer.

    If you thought having only white people on that team was a problem why the fuck did you not take the time to find a qualified minority applicant?

    No, but perhaps you should have either (assuming you were doing the hiring) been an adult and stuck with your team and if/when questioned about the lack of diversity explained that you simply hire the most qualified applicants regardless of race or if you did what to diversify the team, either for outward appearances or to benefit the team, you should have actually bothered hiring a qualified applicant.

    Anyone who knowingly hires an employee they know will perform to a standard that is below what they need out of the position is a moron.

    If the most qualified applicants actually are white then just make sure you have a good application and hiring process and document everything and you won't have to worry if anyone inquires as to the lack of diversity.

    If you're going to hire minorities at least hire qualified ones. Doing anything different is fucking stupid.

    That's not how it works in the real world. Their called protected classes and in the real world they equal lawsuits if the best candidates happen to have white skin instead of dark skin. Isn't America great?

    Also, if you bothered/were capable of reading you would have noticed the part about making sure your application and hiring processes are excellent and you document everything. That way you can't lose a lawsuit.

    Why would I sell my business. I would just close down take the lose right off, hold the property dump the inventory into the market and walk away. Collect my SS, military retirement, work for cash only, all non-taxable and live on over 80,000 per yer tax free and some of you think I'm stupid....
