House Republicans, Attempting to Embarrass Obama, Reveal CIA involvement in Syria.

    Doesn't happen if the administration doesn't try to cover this up by blaming a video.

    And the horse left the barn when "unconfirmed reports" in the Washington Post and others said CIA operatives were part of the evacuation. It's not like the bad guys don't know the location of the places they attacked.

    I suppose you could say they had a "Seal Team 6" moment.

    I'm not a Republican, nor did I call you a "lefty." You post an op-ed from an obviously rattled Dana Millbank, "blowing the lid off" something the average circus monkey already knew, and then get mad when called on it.

    The CIA is involved everywhere. Didn't everyone already know this?

    It's like announcing that Mossad is tracking down ex-Nazis in Argentina. It may not be entirely on the up-and-up, but it's not exactly a surprise.

    There is something wrong with want to knowing the truth. At best, the communication between the State Department and the WH is the utmost in incompetence. That's the best. The worst is that we're seeing a cover-up of Watergate proportions, but instead of Woodward and Bernstein investigating, Woodward and Bernstein are aiding the government in preventing the truth from coming out.

    This has nothing to with the GOP or Romney, and everything to do with what happened, why it happened, and whether our government is being honest with us.

    If Obama or someone close to the top of his administration or the State Dept came out and told us what actually happened (because in fact they did know there was no protest), and that somebody somewhere messed up, and that this will never happen again, I could probably live with that response. Yes, I'm sure some of it would be political fodder for his opponents, but he would stand to gain some respect as a leader, imo.

    Contrast that with the actual response, and he and his State Dept deserve much criticism.

    Of course Hillary took the fall. She's not up for election.

    However, the State Dept testimony before Congress (under oath, no less) pins the blame on Obama.
