  The US is in a pickle because we want to be in a pickle. We didn't like pickles until we decided to enter into pickles. The whole solution is as simple as relish. Stay away from pickles in areas of the world that have no bearing on our way of life...including oil. We don't need their stinking oil...and everyone that reads about it...knows this.

  In Syria do you honestly think there is not going to be a backlash against the Alawites who are so tied to the regime. The Sunni regimes are supporting the rebellion. Syrian Sunnis are going to dominate in any new government. If Assad is gone Iran loses as does their client, Hezbollah.

  Polish up your boots and go fight em. If you die, you'll become a valuable statistic that no one will remember.
