Another corrupted appointee ... by Obama
-
Belly35Does Obama just look for corrupted people to appoint. I'm almost sure Obama will soom appoint Bill Ayers to something before this 4 years are up.
Obama earlier this year picked one of his latest appointees to the National Labor Relations Board, the federal agency tasked with resolving labor disputes between unions and management.
Richard Griffin, was former general counsel for the 400,000-member union of heavy equipment operators -- a union tainted over the years by mob connections and a history of corruption.
Public documents obtained by Fox News show that more than 60 IUOE members have been arrested, indicted or jailed in the last decade on charges that include labor racketeering, extortion, criminal enterprise, bodily harm and workplace sabotage.

Yeah, he is way worse than Grant or Coolidge.ccrunner609;1210059 wrote:Obama has almost ability to judge people for a job. His administration is one of the worst hand picked ever.
Yeah, sounds like a bad pick, all politics for the unions and sad to see. But, let's cut it out with the over the top BS. -

No not at all.Belly35;1210252 wrote:so we can assume you are in support of this appointee?
I actually lean right on union issues. I really don't see a need for them anymore.
I just object saying this is the worst administration ever. I think the ones in the late 19th century and early 20th take the cake. -

A disaster would be reflected as such in the polls. 47% approval rate does not equate to disaster. 23% approval rate equates to being a disaster. 23% was the approval rate the last guy in power. And that....is the definition of disaster.believer;1210179 wrote:The Obama Administration is a disaster. That's not over the top BS....that's just the truth. -

Bush's first term approval ratings going into the 2004 election was around 60%. If Obama's is at 47% at the same point in his first term, it makes one wonder where his final approval ratings will be at the end of his second term....assuming enough Bush translate-to-Romney haters like yourself insure his disastrous re-election bid.Footwedge;1210342 wrote:A disaster would be reflected as such in the polls. 47% approval rate does not equate to disaster. 23% approval rate equates to being a disaster. 23% was the approval rate the last guy in power. NOTE: Bush's final overall approval rating was 49.4% which was higher than final average approval ratings of Carter, Nixon, Ford, and Truman at the end of their terms. Just sayin'........ -

Bush the 43rd's high approval rating was directly influenced by the war media that still had Americans believing the Muslims were going to overrun our lands and implement Sharia Law at the next moment.believer;1210364 wrote:Bush's first term approval ratings going into the 2004 election was around 60%. Let's hope that's not the case with our current Commander in Chief. Last I checked the war rages on. In fact, buzz around these parts (Clarksville TN) is 5,000 troops of the 101st Airborne are about to re-deploy to Afghanistan. Makes my leg tingle.Footwedge;1210394 wrote:A wartime president is never dismounted. -

Are we talking Fort Campbell .....I thought it was in KY?
I spent my basic training there then after basic the Army ask me to be a Drill Sergant (temperary status) for additional 6 weeks. I agreed to do that only if I was assured addition rank at AIT an a leadership position.
They want to send me to Shake n Bake training but I refused. Thinking back now I should have done that but what done is done.. -

Maybe it should have been re-phrased as the most un-American administration ever (on top of likely being the worst, by nearly every measure). -

haha You know as well as I that they say Ft. Campbell, KY because the post office is on the KY side of the border, but 80% of the base is on the Tennessee side. Weird to live around an active Army base again after all these years!Belly35;1210911 wrote:Are we talking Fort Campbell .....I thought it was in KY? .
I should have gone ROTC after getting out of the Army but......Belly35;1210911 wrote:I spent my basic training there then after basic the Army ask me to be a Drill Sergant (temperary status) for additional 6 weeks. Took my basic at Ft. Jackson, SC. -

Wait, so if one side is Grant and Harding (as American) and the other is Obama (as un-American), does that mean corruption and giving friends cabinet positions that are not qualified is an American tradition?QuakerOats;1211276 wrote:Maybe it should have been re-phrased as the most un-American administration ever (on top of likely being the worst, by nearly every measure).
Come on, your logic makes no sense.
Is this President great, no. Is he bad, depends on your view. Is he the worst thing ever, no. -

but Obama personally killed Osama....but i bet that doesnt have any effect on his approval ratings....:rolleyes:Footwedge;1210394 wrote:Bush the 43rd's high approval rating was directly influenced by the war media that still had Americans believing the Muslims were going to overrun our lands and implement Sharia Law at the next moment.

gosh why would you write "Butt Buddies?"Belly35;1212836 wrote:Why is it when Obama is mention Obama Butt Buddies and Liberal Socialist Support alway go back in history to change the subject. Never really addressing the topic just deverting the issues
BUT beside that corruption and ineptitude has marred many administrations Obama's so far in way down the list.
Of course we could always look to Congress for corruption. A prime example could be found in the house of representatives in its not so distant past under the hastert-delay leadership.
