Insane....You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

This makes Watergate look like a playground game.
He may be correct. Watergate involved a coverup of a break in and burglary.
Fast and Furious has the potential to be a cover up of a botched, ill concieved operation that involved thousands of guns and hundreds of deaths.

With the exception of the "New Media" (IE: AM talk radio, conservative blogs, and Fox News) the so-called "mainstream" media will ignore this because they played a major role in getting their Appointed One elected.

Plus the MSM is clearly biased hard left. The MSM will do its best to ignore the issue until they have no choice but to cover it. And when they do, they will spin it and do their best to shine the best positive light on it to protect the Obama Administration.

True journalism in this country died a long time ago.

I know you weren't around when a bad burglary at Watergate got worse, but you should do some investigating about what happened. I would specifically ask you to look to see how many lives were lost in that scandal. How many have died thanks to the United States of America's Attorney General authorizing and distributing FREE guns to drug lords and their minions? I know Watergate's burglary and subsequent cover-up is the most heinous crime of the century according to many, but how is giving free guns to know drug lords "insane"?

On another level, is anyone quizzing the Mexican president (Calderone?) how he feels about the United States Government giving free guns to criminals in his country and then these criminals using them to kill Mexican citizens? What if the Mexican government gave away free guns to know American criminals...how would American citizens feel about the Mexican government? yeah yeah...I know...insane.

I 100% agree with you here. But I also agree with Gut on what he posted. Scooter Libby and what he, Cheney, Rummy, and Wolfy did was every bit as bad as what Obama/Holder have done.

And whooooof. With the stroke of a pen from Bush the 43rd, the scapegoat of a huge criminal enterproise was swept under the rug.

Fortune drops a bombshell on the Fast and Furious political witch hunt.
Indeed, a six-month Fortune investigation reveals that the public case alleging that Voth and his colleagues walked guns is replete with distortions, errors, partial truths, and even some outright lies. Fortune reviewed more than 2,000 pages of confidential ATF documents and interviewed 39 people, including seven law-enforcement agents with direct knowledge of the case. Several, including Voth, are speaking out for the first time.
How Fast and Furious reached the headlines is a strange and unsettling saga, one that reveals a lot about politics and media today. It's a story that starts with a grudge, specifically Dodson's anger at Voth. After the terrible murder of agent Terry, Dodson made complaints that were then amplified, first by right-wing bloggers, then by CBS. Rep. Issa and other politicians then seized those elements to score points against the Obama administration, which, for its part, has capitulated in an apparent effort to avoid a rhetorical battle over gun control in the run-up to the presidential election. (A Justice Department spokesperson denies this and asserts that the department is not drawing conclusions until the inspector general's report is submitted.)
Ten days after the meeting with Hurley, a Saturday, Jaime Avila, a transient, admitted methamphetamine user, bought three WASR-10 rifles at the Lone Wolf Trading Company in Glendale, Ariz. The next day, a helpful Lone Wolf employee faxed Avila's purchase form to ATF to flag the suspicious activity. It was the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, so the agents didn't receive the fax until Tuesday, according to a contemporaneous case report. By that time, the legally purchased guns had been gone for three days. The agents had never seen the weapons and had no chance to seize them. But they entered the serial numbers into their gun database. Two of these were later recovered at Brian Terry's murder scene.

    1. "witch"

    2. If it is indeed a witch hunt, and there's nothing to cover up, then great, hand over the documents. Boom- all done, scandal goes away.

I am sure the truth will come out eventually, it always dose. If half the things in the article are true it will be the biggest face plant since McCarthy for the Republicans, which, you can take to the bank.:(

Dems are bail out and want nothing to do with this ... Run away as fast and furious as they can ....getting as much distance from Obama and Holder as possible ..saving their political ass. This is big and will only get bigger

Hillary is waiting in the wings for this bomb to fall.... and Bill in the next few day will throw Obama under the bus again ... when that happens you will know that this is a big problem for the Democrat party and Obama

"A senior Democratic aide told CNN that in addition to the Black Caucus, which includes over 40 members, the Hispanic Caucus, the Asian-Pacific American Caucus, and the Progressive Caucus may also participate."

Why can't we all just be Americans?

I think it's hilarious that all you who tried to make Bill Ayers a big deal are now grasping at straws, thowing s*** against the wall, doing anything they can to try and embarrass this administration.

And to think this House majority was elected under the guise of "jobs". The only job they are doing is the con job they perpetuate daily on those who voted for them, hoping they would help find a solution to the unemployment crisis.

Still waiting on Boehner and his cohorts to do what they promised? Have a nice wait, because it's obvious they have no intention of addressing jobs.

Holder is a POS. Should have been pokeyed a long time ago. Would get a kick out of the uproar when Obama pardons him though.

Again . . . hand over requested documents, nobody gets embarassed (that is, if they have nothing to hide).

That's right, controlling half of one-third of the federal government enables Republicans to solve the jobs crisis.

25 Democrats have voted to enable civil prosecution of Eric Holder, because everyone knows the US attorney won't do anything. The heat's turning up . . .

25 Democrats voted that way because the NRA threatened to withhold financial support to those who voted against the contempt charge, as well as downgrade their precious NRA rating.
