  You are going against actual facts here. Safe communites with good schools have higher property values than dangerous communities with shitty schools. The hopes of SB5 is that pension funding and such will better align with what the economy can provide at the time.
  
  I don't just have a "thoery" you can check the facts for yourself about crime and schools vs property values

  Really, you had to look up facts to see that. That's common knowledge. Rich, wealthy communities didn't become that way because of their school system though. The people who live there set the standard. Can you show me where a shiity city was turned around because of a good school system?

  It all ties in together. As schools and police/fire are improved, it will in turn start to improve the socieconomic status of the residents, which will in turn start to improve the school system and fire/police more, and it just becomes a cycle.

  and that often takes money from outside the city and an increase of police/fire and other city services. NYC did it, but it didnt happen through subtraction.

  This is an excellent point. Many people, especially on this forum seem to think that the free market works perfectly and always how it theoretically should. But it doesn't, a lot. It's still the best model for a lot of things but I think some on here seem to believe it's the answer for everything.

  Free market capitalism - despite its obvious flaws - has provided far, far more people with greater economic opportunities, quality of living, and personal growth than socialism/communism ever hopes to achieve.
  
  While the worldwide Great Socialist Experiment (Europe, Soviet Union, China, etc.) are all adjusting to free market principles to improve their economies, the United States is clamoring for the failed economic ideals of the supposedly utopian socialist mindset.
  
  I don't think capitalism is the answer for everything, but it certainly beats any economic system the world has ever known.
