    Where's the *shit eating grin*?

If we're dodging shoes like Bush we need to include that grin.

    From the article:
"We are going to make sure that no one is taking advantage of the American people for their own short-term gain," Obama said at a town-hall style meeting at a renewable energy plant in Reno.
Now THAT is ironic coming from Obama.

Anyone crying to raise taxes on the rich to pay for crap like this needs to re-think their position. Classic scapegoating strategy. Create a boogeyman, or even better attack one that already exists.

    Play the race card.
    Play the sexist card.
    Play the class warfare card.
Play the Wall Street is eeeevil card.
Play the America is the root of all the world's problems card.
Play the you want to starve old people card.
Play the you don't care about our children card.
Play the you hate our environment card.
Play the you want people without health insurance to die card.

The are plenty more of these in the Classic Scapegoat Play Book.

See this article ---- absolutely unbelievable. Until the marxists (masquarading as democrats) are purged from the EPA the American people will be victimized, and their own resources will be put off limits by radical bureaucrats. WAKE UP!

"After spending nearly $4 billion exploring, Shell Oil has been told it cannot start drilling for an estimated 27 billion gallons in the country’s most remote place — because a boat it uses might pollute the air. The Environmental Protection Agency’s appeals board denied permission for the Anglo-Dutch company to drill in the Arctic Ocean off Alaska’s northern coast...."

Republican Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski was blunt: “EPA has demonstrated that they’re not competent to handle the process. So if they’re not competent to handle it, they need to get out of the way.”

... the appeals board has four members, all Democrats, including Kathie Stein, whom it described as “an activist attorney for the Environmental Defense Fund.”

Change we can believe in .........

Yes, I agree that the article is unbelievable. Of course, if it were actually there (and not expired) I could read it.

I get your point though. I don't have a problem with drilling anywhere along our coastlines, mainly because I don't live there. If I had property along the coastline I would expect that all safety measures were being taken and followed. Otherwise I say drill all they can. Maybe it will help.
