  I will look it up...and find a poll or polls showing that about 80%/85% of Americans were convinced that Saddam had a hand in 9-11.
  
  The propaganda campaign went full force in September/October 2002, only 12 months after America was attacked by Al Quada. People were scared shitless. I was scared shitless.
  
  If the president says "Saddam Hussein" in the same sentence with "the terrorists of 9-11" then only idiots would not connect the dots.
  
  When the Vice President states on national TV that Iraqi officials met with Mohammed Atta, then one would have to be an idiot in not deducting a connection.
  
  When the Secretary of State (Condi Rice) states on National TV says that "the smoking gun could be a mushroom cloud", one would have to be an idiot for not having the beJesus scared out of them.
  
  It wasn't until Hans Blix and Mohammed ElBaradei stated that they searched Powell's sites...and found no bio labs, no chem weapons and no nukes, did I pause in reflection. And this was announced 3 weeks prior to the invasion...an invasion that was primarily sold on Saddam holding and going to use these weapons.
  
  To Unique....you are entitled to your opinion in laying blame on the Congress. I don't....for the simple fact that they watched (Congress)these same television shows and were rightly, scared shitless.

  i would also bet 80-85% of americans couldnt name more than 3 terrorist organizations. like i said, they hear "terrorist" and immediately assume Osama and his cronies.

  ^^^Glory...I meant to edit my post...but it's too late. I wanted to change the word idiot to fool up above. I am not calling anyone here an idiot. Not you or anyone else.
  
  My point is....80/85 percent of Americans believed that there had to be a connection...based on what they heard. Per rules here...I will dig the net tommorrow...and post supporting links for my assertions.

  Glory...here is a link citing 70% of Americans still believed there was a connection....and incredibly, this was in the fall of 2003....long after the official reports had been published that there was no connection. I will search for the polls months prior to the invasion.

  Haha very funny Glory I know I'm some idiot that's just spewing to much. Sorry if I don't want to put all my info out there it took a long time to get and not just going to give it away. I will give hints then it's your turn to do some research. The UFO's were probably some of our new little tricked out spy planes how many different ones do we have now?

  Oh yeah one more thing about Iraq Gory do you remember when Bush told us that if we went to war gas would go back under a $ 1.00 a gallon? How do you think they were going to make that happen?

  No i dont remember him saying that. Whats the point of having information if you arent going to let anyone see it? Until you start providing proof to back up your claims, you wont be taken seriously.

  If people are narrow minded than fine that's their fault not mine, do I care who takes me serious? No not really I know what I know and that's that. Like I said if you care enough look it up go to the library and do some research it's not all on the internet. We invaded Iraq to protect Kuwait because they were slant drilling into their oil. They were using technology that the U.S. and mainly British were supplying.

  This website is not protected by the U.S. Constitution. If you want to claim something as fact, YOU have to provide the evidence to support it. This isn't innocent until proven guilty.
  
  Also, just because someone refuses to believe your opinion, does not make them narrow minded. I won't put up with passive-aggressive name calling either.

  Sorry LJ I should have said not thinking outside the box or not having an open mind! But glory can make stupid references to UFO's is cool? We all know he was trying to dog me and be a smart butt. Where did I say anything about not believing my opinion I stated mine and said I didn't care who takes me serious.
