The Official Election Results Victory Thread!!

  • QuakerOats
So that we can all go to one thread on election night and weigh in as the results come streaming in, and of course offer up congratulations to real Americans everywhere for turning out and voting the radical regime in Washington!!!

Change we can REALLY believe in ................... just hours away!!!!

You're an idiot for saying "real Americans".

I guess that means that if I don't vote "R" across the board, I'm a fake American. Darn...
  • cbus4life
My passport, social security card, etc., i thought, meant i was a real American. I guess not. :(

The entire view that those that don't agree with me aren't real Americans is probably the most "un-American" attitude one can have. Should probably tell our liberal troops that they don't need to fight anymore, considering they aren't "real" Americans.

    what a moronic post

I just want the election to be over.....I'm sick of the campaigning.
  • QuakerOats
You guys are mighty touchy. "Real Americans" ---- those who vote as mentioned above, and hopefully for true conservatives.

By the way, was it not obama who just called many real Americans, "the enemy"? Where is the outrage?
  • stlouiedipalma
Nice job of backpedalling, Quaker. Looks like you got caught painting those who disagree as fake Americans.

By the way, I'm sure the returns will be satisfying to all conservatives, but how long does the honeymoon last? After all the talk, America is expecting results. Can they deliver on their promise to America, and how long before the winds blow in another direction?
  • QuakerOats
Who knows, the liberals have enabled so many to feed off the public trough that it will be difficult to reverse course ---- the Tea Party may have arrived too late to reverse the damage inflicted.
  • Belly35
Liberal, Democrat and Socialist can't relate to the word "real" (authentic; genuine) and that is understandable…. because many live in a entitlement mentality world
  • queencitybuckeye
I'll be voting for candidates from both major parties, and maybe even a third party. Guess I'm only partially "real". :)
  • majorspark
Is this anything like working Americans?
  • jhay78
When he said "real" I thought he meant "actual citizens" or "non-illegals".

Goes without saying, also. Then again it does need to be clarified becasue there are some municipalities allowing non-citizens to vote in local campaigns.

So, any predictions from the group?

I say the R's pick up 72 in the House and 9 in the senate.

NAW...the Dems will be busing in illegals and dead people to exercise their right to vote 2, maybe even 3 times tomorrow wherever and whenever they can get away with it. Count on it in Chicago and the southwest.

"Vote now, vote often" is the motto. :p

R's pick-up the House by a landslide. D's narrowly keep the Senate - say - 50 to 50 with Joe Biden being tie-breaker.

As long as Pelosi and Reid are sent packing and conservatives can keep BHO in check, I'll be one very, very happy camper come Wednesday morning.

I do have a couple questions for people who know more than me....

1.IF Harry Reid loses, who will become the new Senate Majority Leader?? I keep hearing Chuck Schumer

2.If there is a 50-50 tie....is there even a Majority Leader,or does Biden become it by default

    1. I've heard Schumer as well as Dick Durbin.

    2. Since Biden casts the deciding vote in a 50-50 tie, the Majority leader would still be a D. Same thing happened for a few months in 2001 as the Senate was 50-50 and since Cheney was an R, Trent Lott was the Majority Leader.

Majorspark has an excellent comment about the last time this happened in 2001 and Jim Jeffords turned blue and the Dems had complete and utter amnesia about "bipartisanship". Not sure which recent thread it is on....I think it's on the "restoring sanity" thread.

Yep, that's where I remember it, and a buddy and I had the same conversation today.

Schumer and Durbin would be be great choices...although I would prefer Durbin

    Thanks for the help Ptown

Also...I was talking to a buddy who works for the ODP and he said there are rumors of a major announcement from the DNC either Friday or Monday. He says the rumors is as follows:

1.Biden announces he will not run in 2012
2.Hilliary is announced as Obama's 2012 running mate
3.Tommy Vittor will become WH Press Secy
4.Gibbs will become chairmen of the DNC
5.John Kerry or Tim Kaine becomes SECSTATE

Not sure if to believe him....but he's says there is major talk about this

It would be interesting to see what the democrats would do if they got shellacked everywhere else and the senate would end up a 50/50 tie. Say the republicans reminded the democrats of the their willingness to make a deal in 2000 to share power. I just can't see them extending the hand of bipartisanship. Especially with the likes of Schumer or Durbin as majority leader.
  • fish82
Schumer is a bigger douche than Reid. No matter...50/50 Ben Nelson flips to the dark side by the end of the week. Problem solved.

I'd be shocked, and I mean shocked with all of those except 3 and 4. Kaine at SECSTATE is awful and why would Kerry leave the Foreign Relations Committee chair?

I don't know ptown,he just said that's what the rumor is
