When we start to do something about all the guilty ones that walk on some stupid technicality, (a significantly higher number than those wrongly convicted I'll wager) then I'll start giving a shit about the innocent ones that cook.
There's that good conservative Christian view. God bless you.
What do you have against Christians? Did you get your ass kicked and/or your girlfriend stolen by one or something?:D

Nope I live in a house full of them and go to a conservative catholic university and are friends w/ many.

I only have a problem with the ones who'd claim to follow Christ but state that its okay if an innocent life was taken by the justice system because they probably deserved it anyway.....Sounds like the message Christ spoke, eh???? Most Christians I know oppose the death penalty by virtue of their faith, let alone believe that its okay for an innocent person to die.

Guess you believe in the 'American Jesus'.....

I don't think a true Christain would try to kick my ass and they could steal my girlfriend but if they're a true Christian what would they need a girl for???

    You can't be serious.

Disgusting. Yea, no big deal that innocent people are executed at times.
Of course I am. Far be it from me to throw some shit against the wall just to watch you people freak out. You know I would never do that. ;)

    What? lol

Please define, in your mind, what a true Christian is or should be?
Because I don't remember reading or hearing about Jesus speaking about virginity for life(?)

I DO remember, however, "Go forth and multiply"

None of the Christians I know are doing anything overly fun with girls.....what would they need mine for???

She's not one to wait, if you know what I mean...

You can find studies for and against. I am FOR IT.

IMO not used nearly enough! The reason the cost is high has nothing to do with the shot it has to do with the 700 appeals they get first. Besides that I will pay more if it gets that scum off the earth. I think it should be used much more. Not a deterent? Please that study sucks. Start using it in a timely fashion and see if you don't see the crime slow.

I am up in the air on the death penalty. I think every human has the right to live his/her life however they choose as long as it does not harm another's--there is nothing more important than the right to LIVE. However, I also strongly believe in self-defense. So the question is--is the death penalty an appropriate method of self-defense? I have not answered this for myself yet.

If that were true, you should be able to find all sorts of historical examples proving it. Bet you can't.
