SageI am looking forward to the Sarah Palin Presidential Campaign. It will be interesting to see which ways the Republicans go about cannibalizing her.
-
CenterBHSFanAlright. For those who have "bought into" the hype about Sarah Palin:
http://snopes.com/politics/palin/palin.asp
I think more people should inform themselves a little bit better. Here's a site depicting her stance on just about all important issues. Just to help them out

Strapping Young Lad
Yeah, because she seems way more open-minded than that LOL!!!! When they asked her about it she said it was simply a rhetorical question!!!! HAHAfish82 wrote:
You do know that's complete bullshit, right? You people amaze me sometimes.Strapping Young Lad wrote: Let's hope not!!!!!!! Remember this is the same old Sarah that would've liked to have BOOKS REMOVED FROM THE LIBRARY B/C SHE THOUGHT THEIR CONTENT MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH HER CONSERVATIVE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS!!!!!!!
that is NOT the kind of religious whack job that I want as my president.....
And how the hell do YOU know it's bullshit????? I doubt you were present... -
bigdaddy2003I think it's funny that the liberals are taking time out of their day to bash her. It makes me laugh. Like I said earlier she isn't a joke and I would vote for her. I just don't think she will be running. She is 10 times better looking than any liberal/democrat. Maybe that is one reason people don't like her.

CenterBHSFanbigdaddy,
I think "looks" has alot to do with it. Not necessarily looks such as hot or good looking, but overall put-together. From the way they dress, carry themselves, speak, hair, all of it.
It's IMAGE. -
tk421This is one of the problems with politicians that I have. They spend all this time bashing a woman who has nothing to do with running the country. I wish this country had more mature politicians on both sides, but they all act like little kids. It's disgusting.

CenterBHSFanSarah Palin:
1. Killed this bear with her Swiss Army pocket knife
2. Skinned him with one of the lens from her glasses

And you have to act like you believe in God, even if you don't.....CenterBHSFan wrote: bigdaddy,

Little DannyStrapping Young Lad,
I think you have Sarah confused with Tina Fey. I don't think most of her basher's have any true idea what the woman stands for. It's funny but some people act as if she is the most far right politician in history. She is actually closer to a centrist on more issues than people recognize.
With that being said, I don't thinks he will run for President in 2012. She will likely have a media gig, perhaps a radio or television talk show (a la Rush, Beck, etc.) -
Strapping Young LadWhy are you singling me out....I've said nothing about her politics only her conservative religious views.
Maybe it's YOU who is confused..... -
SQ_CraziesShe should be a factor, and will be a factor, but not that big of a factor IMO. She won't get the nomination so she won't be a huge factor--the right has caved into the left's propaganda scheme against her. I think it's funny to talk to people who hate her--most of them have no idea why and don't know anything about her. I know people on the left that will even admit to me that they're scared of her because they know she could actually win an election--AND do very well. But they've destroyed her in the media and too many people have bought into it at this point.
Although, the way things are going now, when I look 3 more years down the road I'm not sure Obama could beat ANYBODY. But it could go the other way in 3 years too, who knows.
Ron Paul 2012! If people would just listen to him, he'd win in a landslide. -

Which I don't recall her ever saying she'd force on any of you people. Didn't you all have your torches and pitchforks out for 8 years preparing for W's inevitable "theocracy?" :rolleyes:Strapping Young Lad wrote: Why are you singling me out....I've said nothing about her politics only her conservative religious views.

CenterBHSFan^^ Fish can ALWAYS be counted on for perspective!
-
shatI'd like to see Sarah get a bit more time in office, an Alaskan senate seat might the right spot for her. For now mwahahahahahaahaaaa.
-
Strapping Young Lad
She didn't have to come out and say it....her "rhetorical question" about banning 'threatening' books spoke volumes.....fish82 wrote:

It takes a lot more experience to run a country than bullshittin' around Wascilla or wherever the hell she's from.....
You'd think we'd learn that after what will be the last 12 years in 2012.
I wouldn't be shocked if the American public were stupid enough to vote someone like Palin into office. We voted Bush in TWICE....HAHA!!!
Three jagoffs is a charm -
shat
And then they followed Bush up with the least qualified man ever, the junior senator from Illinois who started campaigning 140 days after he hit the US senate. Yea, Obama's definitely a better choice for everything than anyone else, he's the best thing for this country ever!!!Strapping Young Lad wrote: I wouldn't be shocked if the American public were stupid enough to vote someone like Palin into office. SQ_CraziesRight, and remember how they said Palin had no leadership experience? LMAO, and Obama somehow did? I guess being a Senator for a very short time gives you more executive experience than being at the top of the executive branch of the biggest state in the country.
-
killdeerthe Republican party can be strong in 2012...just don't pick someone whom already is hated by half of the country...ala Palin.
Mike Huckabee in 2012 is structuring his run exactly right...mid-profile...solid...accessible...respectable....(Palin is none of these qualities). -
SQ_CraziesHuckabee...no thanks. Not a strong enough candidate, we don't need a push over.
What the right needs to do is grab their balls and realize they still have them and stop letting the left control everything they do through the media. The left has been dominating because they're better politicians--as in better at getting elected, better at propaganda and destroying the opposition.
What happens when someone in our government messes up from the left? They all stand behind him/her. What happens when it happens on the right these days? They all apologize and the left rips them a new one. It's pathetic, we've become their bitch because we've gotten away from the real values of the party. -
hoops23Like I said on the political views thread, I'm an independent, but if Palin is the GOP candidate in 2012, no thanks.
-
SQ_CraziesAnd the left is ridiculously good at picking up a topic that really means nothing in the grand scheme of things and running with it to mask something else and sway opinion. Just like they're doing now that they're in power--why do you think the swine flue is such a big deal? Because it hides other news and they can get stuff done without as much opposition. How many issues can you think of that are like that? I'll give you one--abortion. Sorry religious right, but it really isn't very important and it distracts us from things that are.
-
hoops23Swine flu is a big deal because it's like every other pandemic. The media likes to scare it's audience. That's what draws in ratings. People want the newest info on anything dangerous.
West Nile, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, etc... -
Elliot StablerI really think Huckabee give you guys the best chance to win
-
SQ_CraziesIt isn't about scaring--it's about hiding. More people need to start thinking like that too because the world we're living in is getting very scary.
