Leftists drop claims ObamaCare will reduce health costs and lower deficit; media mum.

That's what I'm saying. It doesn't matter who is in office or whether they are R or D, nothing is ever going to change. They are all the same, only the letter next to the names is different.

I hear ya Boat. I have stated before, if real change is to occur it will take some sort of revolution to change the way our government has operated the last 50yrs. I am not saying it will require the shedding of blood nor would I want it to and I hope it never gets to that point. Just saying it will take some major political upheaval outside of the normal political process to truly send the message to our government. Playing political volleyball the last half century has proved to be a failure.

I will say this. I am willing to give the republicans (mainly conservatives) one last chance to govern conservatively. Limit the size of government and return the federal government to fiscal sanity. I stopped giving my hard earned dollars to the republicans several years ago. If they fail this time I will have to look at other alternatives. I think many Americans feel the same way.

I've accepted that both Democrats and Republicans are going to lie and weasel and construe their expensive fiscally irresponsible legislation in the best light they can...but hey, I doon't take CBO projections at face value nor pretty much anything else that comes out of Congress...but that's me, the kind of guy that likes politics enough to talk about it on a message board. The average guy who is apathetic might not.

Damn...Boat agrees with me! OK, I'm going to agree with you and others that are equally distraught with the Republicans as well as the socialist Democrats. Fair point. Now...we have a Tea Party espousing candidates that are NOT affiliated with either party and all they get is disgust, derision, and "oh..you are part of Sarah Palin". So which is it....eliminate the elitists that have "all" the answers, or replace them with down to earth Americans that may not be pure, but they have a clue that the road we're traveling down is the road to damnation. Pick your poison people...there is no perfection. We can never have perfection...quit laying in wait for it.

Well said, Major. I should quit posting and wait for your responses. I don't think I've ever disagreed with any of them. I will follow your lead.

    Agreed,

Many just keep spinning their wheels hoping one side or the other will fix the mess these 2 parties created. They claim to be different but when it shakes out we get the same results.

Fire all of them and be responsible for yourself and we won't have them living off our labor.

The state hand that gives must first take, since states are incapable of producing ANYTHING but division and conflict. States ONLY consume.
