Do You Care Which Religion Obama Practices?

  People seem to be outraged that, according to a recent poll, many Americans think Obama is a Muslim.Personally, I don't care if he is a Christian, a Muslim, a Catholic, an Agnostic, etc....I don't see why it matters.

  Sure, I care. I don't think it's an issue that determines whether he is fit to be president.
  
  He's very clearly not a Muslim. Anyone who has paid attention to him at all over the past few years would say with confidence that he's nominally Christian, in the same sense that many fairly secular people become nominally religious when running for office. He seems like a fairly upstanding, moral guy who is more of a secular humanist than anything else.
