Just a thought, but is it fair to say that Cities tend to be liberal? Yes?
Is it fair to say rural areas tend to be more conservative?
Ok, now that's established. I have a completely unscientific theory as to why liberal AM radio has never taken hold.
When do most people listen to the radio? While driving.
People in the city drive less and walk or use public transportation more. There would be less people driving and listening to the radio, thus a smaller market to tune in.
People who live in the suburbs and country drive much more often so are more likely to listen to the radio.
IDK, I always though this might play a role in why liberal radio never took hold.
Edit: also could be that when you actually say what liberals believe out loud, it sounds crazy as hell lol.
