    Hypothetical
we already know your view of us

I am sorry i dont share your hatred of America and America's armed services. I dont consider us imperialists. I think our military is a force for good in the world
If the American military, my fellow Americans, who put their lives on the line around the world to protect us. And someone in Iraq or Haiti is trying to kill those people they should die and rot in hell. But of course you are rooting for those people to kill Americans.

And I know which side I want to see be successful and survive. The American servicepeople who put their lives on the line for us.

You know, for a guy who sympathizes with the plight of the unemployed here, you sure are good at playing the hypocrisy card when it comes to people who wear a uniform that's a different color than the home team's...just sayin.
if they are trying to kill Americans, the hell with them.

So according to you the American troops who overthrew a bloody expansionist dictator in Iraq are the terrorists and the Baathist and Alqeada fighters are the heroes.

This to me is the same problem as the Mosque in NYC issue. Not a big deal if we use logic (in neither issue were any of the parties involved in the least in 9/11 or terrorism) but I understand why it could rub people the wrong way.

    isadore, please stop.

Yeah...that's somehow what I said...Let's try again...since you failed to pay attention the first couple of times...

Iraq has over 10% of their CITIZENRY either living as nomads across border or else are 6 feet under. Putting that in it's proper perspective, the same percentages would yield 30 million US citizens either living in tents in Canada or Mexico...or else dead. 30 million people. Ain't war cool? Now if 30 million of your fellow countrymen were either dead or forced to flee the country, would you don the occupiers with flowers and candy because the ruler was an asshole?

If you had any nuts at all, you'd try to kill every last one of them for shitting up your country.

And BTW......Al Quada had nothing to to with Iraq and Saddam H.

And Isidore...this quote and article was written today. Thought you might want to read it.....but as Mark Twain would say...."this makes no sense". Hope you enjoyed your father's day.

"Every innocent civilian killed or wounded in Afghanistan and in Iraq has a mother, father, sister, or brother, and in these close-knit tribal communities many more who are considered very close relatives. The families and friends of those harmed in these conflicts could carry with them the need for vengeance for decades to come."

again and again you try to provide a sympathetic justification for people who kill American service people. Everyone of them is scum. The United States did not liberate Sweden. They liberated Iraq. A nation ruled by an expansionist, totalitarian, genocidal regime, responsible for the death of several hundred thousand Iraqis. If I was a Kurd, Shia, an opponent of the Baathist, the liberation would have put an end to evil regime that had been killing Iraqis for 25 years with no end in sight until liberation which served as an operation to remove a cancer. Now people in the nation actually have a say in their government. And I would be glad to see those fanatics from Al Qaeda who tried to take advantage of the situation being driven from my county.

But of course as an American I can not understand why any fellow American would try to excuse the killers of our servicepeople who put their lives on the line for us.
