But, i can't disagree completely with his comments in this regard.

P.S. Doesn't really make sense to compare her to Karl Marx, because despite how much you might disagree with Marx, there is no denying that he was about 100 million x smarter than Pelosi could ever dream to be. :D
I for one am not going to crucify you, for what he was at least Marx was as close to a true believer as anyone in his ideals. What makes his ideals so dangerous is that his 'followers' aren't true believers, in that they are exempt from all of these societal rules as they are superior and know what's best for all of the little people.

People like Pelosi and Al Gore aren't marxists, they are part of the ruling elite that invoke his ideas when it is politically convenient for them, but have no problem flying first class, eating caviar or buying mansions outside Santa Barbara.

BTW I don't think it is just $$$ that spurns this hypocrisy, you see it in high levels of academia as well. Rules are for the little or ignorant people.
Remind me of the book Animal Farm when The Pigs posted on the barn "All animals are equal"; only later to change it to read:

"All animals are equal but some are more equal than others"

    "We have elected the enemy".

And all this time I thought you were from Ohio. Not only that, but you obviously voted for her, since you say "we" in your statement.

i have no intention of stepping in that state either. just not my type of place or my type of people there.
Because only hippie liberal communist scum live in the gay invested state of California right?

That's as stupid as saying I won't ever go to Georgia because it's filled with Bible thumping racist prudes.

If you don't like the ocean and sun, whatever. But don't pretend like a state only has one type of people or city in it. Hell, look how different places like Cleveland and Columbus are.

Touche. But they have awesome peaches.

haha it was really akward. like he just showed up with his wife and 2 other people one night several months after i had been there. even though i said "no thanks" they still wanted to hold hands and say a prayer together. i guess it could have been worse, they could have wanted to have ritualistic sex or something.

haha not a peach fan, but i lived on the beach side. so i guess that was a plus. it always amazed me how you can take one turn off the beaten path and feel like you're in a place from Deliverance.

I chuckle about the California comments. Been to California often and find wide variances in the State, especially Northern California areas ( including San Francisco) and Southern California ( think L.A.). But if I could afford the housing, I'd have moved to Santa Barbara or the Carmel area of Monterrey yesterday.

Pelosi has enemies as she has been very effective as the Speaker of the House. She is going to be around for quite awhile yet and rack up some big wins.

Don't chuckle too much, Paladin, some of us have not only spend time there but actually lived there. (somebody I'll probably move back)

Nancy Pelosi gets elected/reelected because she panders to:

    - feminists
    - the anti-war groups
    - the gay community
    - the folks that stand on the corner of Market and testify about the dawning of the Age of Aquarius (not joking)
    - the peta/peta-types
    - secular groups
    - what I can "the Berkley groups"
    - the immigration groups
    - pro communual groups
    - pro nudity groups

Those blocks are her base. Those are the people that vote her in. As long as they are around, Nancy Pelosi or anybody suffering from her particular type of derangement, will be around.
Those types of groups are not what is considered "Main Stream America". They are main stream for the Bay area, but .... that's all it takes, really.
And because of that, she's so far out of touch with America, as a whole, that she'll never ever see the light of day. The lightbulb  will never turn on for her.
Not that she wants it to, because so far it's to her benefit.

And the Dems in all their idiocy chose her to lead the House. Oh that's right she was going to be a reconciler, she was going to bring civility back to Congress....blah, blah, blah.

Pelosi's a top-shelf fruitcake from the fruitcake Left Coast.

    :D .... funny.

    They:

    - the anti-war groups

BTW --- hope your health is well.

Pelosi is there to push the D agenda, nothing more, nothing less, just like an R would push their agenda. Get real. And she is effective. I see none of the Far Left issues being pushed ( Peta,Age of Aquarius, etc) but don't doubt that those folks vote for her. Just like racists, bigots and greedy people vote for Rs. But hate on, as she'll be around for quite awhile and the Ds are not losing the House this year.

Spent alot of time in Cal and its beautiful ( but expensive).

Effective at what? Being the most hated person in America? I'll put it this way, if something happened to Obama and Biden that they couldn't serve, there is no way she would assume the Presidency. This country would implode rather than have her take office.

I think you hit the nail on the head. California is beautiful but is very expensive. I wonder if the tax burden they place on anyone living or doing business there has anything to do with it? One of the highest in the nation. Not only that but they can't control their spending. Democrats in the California legislature are currently fighting to make that burden greater in lieu of spending cuts.

As for the racist, bigoted, and greedy, plenty of them vote for the democrats as well. Carry on making foolish comments like this if it makes you feel better. Only fools are buying it.

    Well...no kidding.

If it weren't for the rules of the forum you wouldn't have even had to say anything in your first post and anyone with even 10% of a normal brain would have agreed.

I'm guessing what she has done is being a democrat :P

Boxer is symbolic of the working class who ousted the prior regime (the farmer). He was loyal to the the new regime and eventually got shafted by the elites. Sounds pretty familiar, eh? Hope they don't send us to the Glue Factory.
