Sheppard Smith Rips BP's CEO a New One.

FootwedgeGets a little annoyed that Mr. Hayward has downplayed the disaster in the Gulf in hopes of minimizing litigation damage.
I have been in the corner of those that clamored "drill baby, drill".
Well....when this disaster is calculated out and the total damage is finally calculated, how much more money will this set the American people back...when all of the costs are spread back to the people?

cbus4lifeWell said Sheppard!

majorsparkPersonally I thought Shep got a little carried away saying Hayward should "act like he cares." I would say things are being done by BP and Hayward. Monies are being dolled out without litigation. Promises are being made by BP to pay economic damages even before all questions have been answered as to the causes on this incident.

A comment taken out of context used to paint him as a heartless boogeyman. What he said was true, although probably not the time or place to discuss such things. Every politician in the federal government and gulf states, not to mention the press, wants to nail him to the cross. Possibly it was because he is feeling the heat and is a little defensive. But I see no indication that he does not care.
