If you’re in my country illegal and you have committed criminal acts against the citizen of America you have no civil rights in Belly world. First you have broken the law hence the “illegal” term and second you have done harm to a citizen of America and third you are a drain of tax payer money because of your action against my country and its people.

WTF is this Judge thinking ……….that judge need to find a new gavel because the one he has now he would be crapping splinters for weeks if I have anything to say.

Civil rights: The rights belonging to an individual by virtue of citizenship, especially the fundamental freedoms and privileges guaranteed by the 13th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution and by subsequent acts of Congress, including civil liberties, due process, equal protection of the laws, and freedom from discrimination

Tough question, they have basic human rights that any civilized society like ours should follow, but they don't have the same "civil rights" that American citizens, do, IMO.

Not sure what the distinction is, but they should have the right to be treated fairly and justly and humanely, but they shouldn't have the exact same rights as American citizens.

Spot on- illegals have human rights, and deserve to be treated humanely, but they do not in any way have civil rights.

Without due process, how would one determine whether someone is here illegally or not?

    True.

The problem is a lot of people use the terms civil rights and human rights interchangeably so it's difficult to discern what they actually mean.

Obviously anyone in the US whether by legal or illegal means deserves to be treated humanly and justly. But that doesn't mean they need to have all of the civil rights that are guaranteed to citizens.
  • ManO'War
They deserve to be treated humanly...as they are escorted back across the boarder.
  • Mr. 300
They have no civil rights if they're here illegally. Humane rights of food, clothing, and water. Otherwise, they can pound salt.

Breaking the immigration laws you have no rights ...when you’re illegal and breaking the law and potential threat to the safety of American Citizen ...you have no rights …simple but difficult for Liberals and Spineless individuals difficult to comprehend

Grouchy person ..I think not How about a person of standards :D ….Not willing to compromise just because someone thinks of lowering the standard. Some people wince at the interpretation of the law and the Constitution because it is difficult to up hold and takes courage to defend…. wince …shows weakness

You can play in my yard …if I invite you, follow my rules, respect my property and honor me for letting you be here in my home as a friend….. If you’re not invited you could be shot, break my rules I would kick the shit out of you or be shot, destroy my property you would pay with sweat, blood and money or be shot….. Knowing this you would have a better understanding of the standards I hold, appreciate the opportunity you have been give and would find great honored to be a welcome guest at the Belly yard…. plus you would be safe because we have real bullets ;)

Technically no one has "rights" That is something given from society to society. It is a social agreement just like morals are.

Yes we do have bullets but our nation's feminine side (the left) has taken away our left testicle and is threatening to chop off our right if we use them. :D

    I think it's pretty self-explanatory:
    Main Entry: civil rights
    Function: noun plural
    Results
the nonpolitical rights of a citizen especially the rights of personal liberty guaranteed to United States citizens by the 13th and 14th amendments to the Constitution and by acts of Congress

Aww, cmon, we all know you just got that from a conservative website. Real civil rights include the right to free health care, a decent-paying job, and freedom from being offended by religion and any and all things conservative or patriotic.

I agree with this. They do not deserve anything other than a ride back to the border.

When will our federal govt wise up and secure our southern border? Bring troops home and guard it!

    Technically you're wrong.

Unalienable rights (life, libery, the pursuit of happiness) are given to men by their Creator, not government or a social agreement. The government is there to secure those rights, not give them in the first place.

If the Declaration of Independence means nothing, and rights have to be conferred by a government's whim, then we are all in big trouble.
