Family Research Council Co-Founder George Rekers caught with a Male Prostitute

Yes, I'm sure you went to "rentboy.com" to find a young man to preach the gospel to on your italian vacation

How is it that you devote nearly thirty years of your life arguing for the ills of homosexuality yet you clearly like having your mouth treated like a toilet by young men?

Why does it seem like there are a lot of highly recognizable and outspoken Christians that are closet homos? What is the common denominator?

Define "a lot". What's the common denominator? I dunno...why not explain it to us since you seem to have a handle on it?

No wait, I'll help you. All Christians (particularly us Bible-thumping narrow-minded intellectually-inept evangelical Christians) are closet homos isn't that your point? Or is that all high-profile Christians are hypocrites? It's both isn't it?

what was that you posted on another thread?.... about ....just because someone is a hypocrite, it doesn't disprove the validity of his arguement.

No that's not my point, and I think I've posted enough on here to show that I don't make broad based assumptions about large groups of people like you do. I didn't say any of that. As a former evangelical christian myself I would not believe such things from my own experience. I asked a particular nuanced question. I genuinely do not get why there is at least small, discernible pattern of renowned men who are outspoken against homosexuality who happen to engage in it. It just so happens that these outspoken folks may often be christians because christians adhere to a worldview that views homosexuality as immoral.

But my issue is, suppose you inwardly feel homosexual desires but also deeply sincere christian beliefs about it being immoral...why not go about your life preaching the good news and the gospel etc. Why would you feel convicted to start the National Association of Reparative Therapy...an organization dedicated to reforming gays and testifying before Congress that gays should not adopt when you yourself, knowing you're not somehow a worse person in your heart but also at the same time feel homosexual desires?

Sure but it still begs the question as to why he's trumpeting this particular argument so loudly and leading the march? My question is why does it work out that way. I just think it's a strange phenomenon...

It'd be like the leader of a national Pro-life movement secretly performing abortions in his basement.

To people like wide stance Larry Craig and dapper diaper David Vitter sucking some strange pennis is akin to Eve eating the forbidden fruit.

It's a 'stache made for gay porn, which makes this incident even less surprising. :D
