  ^^^^and thats representative of what America wanted. So I would say they were doing a much better job representing us than the "let us pass it, then you can see whats in it" pelosi's of the world.

  Both sides have rammed bills through at opportune times for a long time, it's not like this is the first time this has ever happened.
  
  Just because your Senator got outvoted doesn't mean they didn't have a say. Sure, it's frustrating, but that's how it's always been when a party has both houses.

  I don't recall the last time reconciliation was used to push through a bill that the public at large was decidedly against, though.
