I admit, i lol'ed. Flyers were apparently distributed by a Republican organizer saying to vote Democrat Betty Sutton out of office and "put her back in the kitchen."

I'll give the Republican props, hadn't heard that one before.

If this were a Democrat, you'd never hear a public apology. If there were any outcry against him, his buddies on the left would stand up for him--the whole thing wouldn't be remembered in 2 months.

Since he's a republican, he gets called out quickly and no one stands behind him--causing an apology.

Not saying he shouldn't apologize, but I just hate the way things work from the different sides of the spectrum during things like this. The Republicans let themselves get taken advantage of like a bunch of suckers.

Didn't our fearless leader make a comment about "Putting Lipstick on a Pig" not so long ago?
  • cbus4life
    Jesus, guys.

I just thought it was funny, i don't think it is a big deal nor am i all that upset with him, just a poor choice of words.

P.S. This thing will be forgotten within a week, if it even lasts that long.

Only posted because i thought it was awesome it was said in the first place. :D

No one actually gives a shit about some republican in Medina County.

I'd much rather bake a cake than cut the grass.

Put ME back in the kitchen!!! lol
  • Mr. 300
That's funny stuff!! Sutton got her panties in a wad over nothing.
  • SQ_Crazies
No, I think it's funny too. Stories like this just bring up that feeling I have about how the two sides operate in "damage control" situations.

But fuck the media, this is already a bigger story than it ever should have been. Anyone else sick of this kind of stuff being "news"?

    I'm tired of it.

Blame the internet as much as the media. Internet makes it all too easy to report this stuff, they've got an unlimited amount of space to report on anything and everything they feel like reporting.

    Yeah it's just ridiculous.

All women should be left barefoot and pregnant...And yes, make me a sammich when I'm hungry.

It just stinks that politicians can't say politically incorrect things. I could never be in politics because I just say too many abrasive and offensive things off the cuff that I don't intend to be taken so seriously.

The real question is how good of a cook is this lady? Because maybe the dude just knows that she's legendary behind the stove and hates to see that talent wasted.

Good question. I know a lot of women who can cook far better than I can, I'd much rather they cook--I feel like I'm giving them their due, not being sexist.

Sutton does not yet appear ready to accept Heck's attempt to reverse the slam.

"You can never completely retrieve a sexist message once you send it out to 15,000 households," the congresswoman told CNN.
This Heck guy should just tell her to quit her bitchen and get back in the kitchen.

Sounds like a good campaign theme.

    Belly,
This was one of your very best. Very funny. I got a big kick out of it! Well played, as they say.
