Actual proven tax problems did not hurt Timothy geithner. Charlie Rangel is still kicking in the house with all his tax issues, sitting on the very committee that is responisble for writing tax law.

As for politicians living it up off of donar or taxpayer dollars in the name of cunducting official business, you would be lucky to find 1 or 2 that have not.

True, but given that Rubio is running as some kind of fiscally responsible/morally superior/yadda yadda yadda candidate, it's ironic. Though he's disputing the charges, so I'm interested to see how it plays out.

Can you find a quote or two where Rubio says he's "morally superior?"

In any case, this has been out there for a while...Crist tried to hammer him on it during their debate a couple of weeks ago, to no avail. Unless there's more to it than has already been reported, I don't see much coming of it.

it's not that he's running on that so much as the people supporting him believe it to be so (just my opinion)

Since Obama's tax & spend Chicago-land Gangstas and countless Congressional tax evading Dems have taken so much recent heat for - well - tax evasion, the lefties will reach for any similar issues with politicians on the right to take the heat off their own tax evading gangstas currently controlling the DC political scene.

    See how that works??

I misspoke. He's being portrayed as is what I should have typed.

Nothing here people...move along. The Dems have set the standard for tax cheats in an administration, so the Repubs have nothing to worry about. I'm sure the voters in Florida will be reminded of this numerous times in the near future.

Don't "see how that works" me as if I were a child. It was rhetorical, he knew he was reaching.
