Americans Are More Skeptical of Washington Than Ever
By ANDREW KOHUT
Are you more antigovernment now that you where before Public Servant Obama Administration?
Does the present Public Servants in the Congress and Senate have America freedom and liberties as their agenda or do they have the wrong priorities of what their job is and who they work for? -
Belly35Wow! Hard question to answer or just too hard to admit the truth?
It is the simple question and direct question of feeling that the Left, Liberals and Socialist just can deal with answering because it not in your play book yet. This simple question can’t be founded in the internet only in your heart and mind...leaving you to think.
But watch what will happens ......the Left, Liberals and Socialist will give no answer to the question but look for away to twist the question into a political football and divert any means to answer the question. Oh! I forgot they will ask a question of the question and give not answer.
A simple question about what your feeling about our present government ….this question is not about Bush, Clinton, Nixon, Carter or past history (sorry took away those pages of the play book can’t go back now).
Are you more antigovernment NOW that you where before Public Servant Obama Administration took office?
No disrespect to Obama he called himself, Congress and Senate a Public Servant on National TV. Just using the same verbiage. -

queencitybuckeyeThe term "more" requires a comparison by definition.
-
Cleveland BuckNope. I've hated the federal government a lot longer than a year and a half.
-
I Wear PantsHe said he doesn't think the current administration is any large measure larger or smaller asshats than what we've had.
How does that make him a left, liberal socialist?
That's right it doesn't because it directly answers your questions.
You asked if we are more skeptical of government because of this administration. We said "no, we don't think this administration is particularly worse or better than past administrations". -

Exactly. I've always been massively anti-government. I don't care who is in office.queencitybuckeye wrote: The term "more" requires a comparison by definition. -

Well, if anyone to the left of Belly is a socialist, I'll plead guilty. Otherwise...I Wear Pants wrote:

And, as to the question, i guess it isn't a huge shock, as i think i've made it well known that i am pro big-government. -

Thanks I'll be here all week -
bigkahunaI have a question and it isn't directed towards anyone on here, but our country in general.
Why is from 2000-2008, when someone had something bad to say about Bush, the Administration, anything government related the response was "If you don't like it you can leave" or something to that effect?
Now, it's popular to be anti-government almost.
This is just my opinion on the matter. It seems like the young people who hated Bush's government have transformed into the middle aged who hate Obama's.
As for as this thread goes,
No, I don't distrust or dislike the government more than I have in the past.
I like it better now because my guy won! That's how it works right, if the guy you voted for is in office then the government is okay, but if the guy you voted for losses then the government sucks?
In all seriousness, I stand by my previous statement...NO. -
CenterBHSFanI still distrust government just as much now as I did 2 years ago and further back.
I do, however state that I don't like it, more so now than ever before.
And it's not just all about Obama. People in Congress have to split the blame. Nancy Pelosi anyone?
As for Obama, I never did like him as a potential or current President, but I only made an issue of it for a few things - not every little thing. But since he's taken the stance of mocking the American people and being so friggen arrogant while doing it, whatever benevolent thoughts I did have about him are virtually melted away.
"...impressing me with the fullest belief of your arrogance, your conceit, and your selfish disdain of the feelings of others, were such as to form that groundwork of disapprobation on which succeeding events have built so immovable a dislike..."
