Yes, as long as it included that. But good luck getting that into a bill like this.
I know plenty of people who are citizens now that aren't fluent in english.

Me too. And that's bullshit. It needs to be our national language. I'm tired of seeing spanish everywhere or people having to know it to work in this country.

Jus Soli is one of the founding concepts of this country.
    That needs to be changed.
So now a constitutionalist doesn't agree with the founding fathers?
The founding fathers didn't have to deal with millions of illegal immigrants pouring into their country every year. I'm sorry, but the fact that a illegal woman manages to sneak into this country and go to a hospital where they are obligated to have her child there, shouldn't mean her kids and ultimately their entire family can stay in this country.
Then why do you apply their opinions to other arguments...like those on the economy or health care?

They didn't have to deal with the situations we have in those industries either.

My question is why do you consider their opinions to be absolute and true in one case and not applicable in another?

I can top that. Out here in Seattle, our ballots are printed in Japanese. Can someone please explain why?

Yes. Because we haven't adopted English as our national language--therefore we cater to all of the other people who aren't required to know it.

    It's BS.

If you go to Mexico, you better know some spanish or you're screwed--they don't care if you don't speak it. And I'm talking about areas outside of big tourist spots. American's spend enough money in Cancun to justify them having a lot of things in English. But even in places in Cancun, the only English that they really understand are numbers because they're trying to sell you something.

The way you are automatically a U.S. citizen is

    1. (I forget the Latin term) but born on the soil, so yes a Mexican momma put her vajayjay in Texas, the baby is a citizen

    2. (Again forget the Latin) but born of the blood, If your parent/parents are a citizen, so are you
    Jus Soli and Jus Sanguinis
    Thank You!

I knew Soli, but couldn't remember the 1st part.
