rtherthrwyathnknwyaFive mats. Great following for high quality wrestlers especially high school guys. 30+ years hosting the event. Great food and ample parking.

1_beastin order for this to be effective in the amount of expertise that is had in runningthis tournament...i would like to know if 30+ is 31 years??? 35 years??? 39 years??? come on...it really is important!!!!
-
NwfanActually its around 29 years I think. And it's Northwestern. Well ran and moves quickly.
-
1_beastthat was my next question...is Notrhwestern a new parochial school that has been having secret tournamnets for the last 30+ years??? lol

Red Rum
I believe the inaugural Husky Open was in April 1980 making 2010 the 31st installment. I still have a picture of myself at that tourney with a Hawaiian Punch mustache and sloppy joe stains on the front of my singlet, so I'm also pretty sure of what the menu was back in the day.1_beast wrote: in order for this to be effective in the amount of expertise that is had in runningthis tournament...i would like to know if 30+ is 31 years??? 35 years??? 39 years??? come on...it really is important!!!! -

rtherthrwyathnknwyaWhoa! I guess I'm getting fired! I can't even spell the name right. I guess we don't have the best spelling teachers, but we sure can wrestle.

1_beastOK ok...I will go out on a proverbial limb and support the suggestion that this IS indeeed a well run tournament. good wrasslin, good food, nice awards....but the Notrhwestern coaches are kinda ....eh, there nice guys
