Northwest Ohio Athletic League

ToughOnTopAs a former NWOAL wrestler, I am looking for some honest insight as to who from the NWOAL will make any noise at Columbus this weekend. From the little that I have kept up with the league this year, there are a few wrestlers with very good chances to podium:
Lopez (PH)
Dye (PH)
McCall (Wauseon)
Elling (LC)
Cowell (ARCH)
Lytle (Swanton)
I have also heard very good things about Kern (LC). Are there any other names to keep my eye on over this upcoming weekend? -
Rolly67The six you mentioned all have a very good chance at placing, if kern puts together a couple good days he could be up there. Krall from LC is a darkhorse that has overachieved in my opinion and has a chance to be on the podium if he keeps it up.

tcby99Lopez appears to be about the only one who could win it...but the ones you listed should all place, and maybe Kern as well.
-
ToughOnTopAny other insight? With a conferance with such a great wrestling history, I can't believe that there is not more discussion...
-
visquestWhat's to discuss, we know who made it to state. Now it's up to them to figure out who wants it more!!!
-
Rolly67I'm just proud to say that 18 wrestlers made it to state and 5 more were alternates. I don't think any other league in NW Ohio can say they sent that many this year, now we just need some hardware.

Rolly6713 wrestlers still alive going into day 2
