cruiser_96Anyone seen a boat!? I think someone missed their's.
-
falcon81Ok Bitterrunnerup its clear you will ignore all facts and just keep going on and on. I have yet to read one post that exploits or gives a single detail or slur about Dolphs situation. So keep knockin yourself out . The boat has long left the dock. LOL I just talked to Firestonefan and he is as bewildered as Iam on your Rantings. I will admit I am an Idiot to continue to respond but Ive been called worse and done worse. Peace out!!

That reminds me... I'll be busy tomorrow from 10 until noon. Consider me prepped to be Dolphinated!!! Dolphinize me!
Shirt slogans just pour out of me. They ooze, even.
Viva Lord Brakeman! (Extra mediums still available.) -

cruiser_96I'll be there at 9:38am! ...with bells on!

cruiser_96Uhh, yeah... He's pretty sweet.
Coach Dolph used a systematic approach to communicate his techniques and it was rather effective. I've been to some 2 hour clinics and sometimes week long camps that only show moves. No tie-in or continuity whatsoever. Having seen (and done) both, I am a fan of the systematic stuff. Downfall: It takes discipline and time. Upswing: Once the idea or philosophy of a systematic approach is learned, IMO, it becomes easier to recognize and execute a different system.
Coach Dolph started with his 4 fundamentals
1) Head up
2) Back straight
3) Hips in
4) Working into your opponent
to show a quick duck under, all in an attempt to loosen the guys up. After that he started with a double leg, complete getting the angle, level change and shooting up and in to the opponent. Once in on a double, remember the 4 fundamentals.
From there he went right into a high crotch... basically, everything was the same, except you only grab one leg. (Just making sure you're tracking, knightflyer. )
In true systematic form, he let the oppoent shut his double and high crotch down, which in turn, opened up a single leg. And oh, did it ever. I'm not exaclty a fan of his style of single but it is an option that might suit some of my wrestlers. Glad I know the option now.
After that he showed and elbow pass to all three.
At the very end, he showed it... The Inside Dolph. I mean trip! Inside Trip. It was backwards from what I am used to seeing btu it certainly is effective.
In the end, I'm glad I went and I did receive permission to air his stuff so as soon as I upload and edit it, I'll have it up. I think I'll start with the inside trip.
Thanks again to the Johnstown folks. See you 'round. -
cruiser_96I finally got it to upload correctly. It should take around another 50 minutes and then 10 minutes to transfer or convert, so we're looking at about an hour. In the mean time, I'll be trying to upload some other positions and techniques. All of it was good, but I'll most likely only show a few others. If you'd like the complete system... SHOW UP!
He said he might be back down closer to the start of next season, so get an eye open for the announcement and mark your calendar. -
cruiser_96It says it's uploading, please wait. But it did give me this address:
Enjoy. -
cruiser_96It's still processing. Give it a few minutes. I'll be back around... 5:18pm. I have to teach the boy the finer points of New Super Mario Bros. Wii style. World 3-5 is a killa!!! The star coin is in a tricky location.
-
cruiser_96I must not know how to upload videos onto youtube. I'm going to try again. Hold on...
-
cruiser_96It's up.

cruiser_96James: I'm uploading his duck-under stuff which helped with initializing and understanding Dolph's foundation fundamentals. I won't be uploading it all due to the fact that he might be making it back down in October or early Novemember. Hopefully, if enough people are into this, they'll show up to get the rest.
Thanks for watching.
Everybody else: Open mats are coming up shortly (if not already). Get somewhere and practice!!! -
cruiser_96Duck-under stuff.

Good. My son said he learned something on Saturday. I'm sure he'll want to go back.cruiser_96 wrote: James: I'm uploading his duck-under stuff which helped with initializing and understanding Dolph's foundation fundamentals. GoldenBearCruiser,
Thanks for posting those. I was out of town and unable to attend, but as someone who got chicken-kicked by B.Dolph for a few years, it was nice to see him via your vids.
Dolph is a great wrestler, a really good dude, and a hell of a coach. Good for the kids that attended and paid attention to not just what he was saying, but why what he was saying works. We had at least one kid go who got a ton out of the experience.
Thanks to the Johnstowners for putting this together and to Dolph for doing it.
