Ticketmaster is the Antichrist

said_aouitaAnyone have 200 level all session tickets available? Please post here or PM me!
It seems if not already on the mailing list or friends with a coach darn near impossible to get 200 level all session from Ticketmaster. -
jaba134I would just scalp them when you get there..probably get a cheaper price.

I'm thinkin' yer right, it's just reassuring to have the entire book. I don't know what has changed? Seems years past OHSAA released 200 sooner then a few days before.jaba134 wrote: I would just scalp them when you get there..probably get a cheaper price.
No way the ol' man can do 300; the wrestlers are already as fuzzy looking to him as Bigfoot pictures. -
jaba134hahaha, well theres more enough scalpers wandering the parking lots that I'm sure would be happy to sell you tickets in the 200's.

I've always wondered how that dude riding a bike (with the beard and wearing a winter coat) gets all the great seats.jaba134 wrote: hahaha, well theres more enough scalpers wandering the parking lots that I'm sure would be happy to sell you tickets in the 200's. -
Dad4SportsI thought I was all set, but now my daughter suddenly wants to go watch her brother on Thursday. If anyone has an extra single for the first session anywhere near 205, please send me a PM
Thanks -

I'm in the same boat as you, but based on past experience especially day 1, just buy a general admin ticket and you will be able to sit just about anywhere. The ushers are pretty laid back the first day or two. A lot of seat hopping occurs when matches are all over the joint.Dad4Sports wrote: I thought I was all set, but now my daughter suddenly wants to go watch her brother on Thursday. romulusJust scalp them getting in is easy you can scalp tickets easy. Just make sure your finals tickets are in the 200's . You can sit about anywhere you want for the rest of the sessions. I dont think I've ever sat in my own seat and that includes the finals. You can get tickets at the Schott also just get in and find a seat the worst thing that can happen is you have to move every once in a while.

I Wear PantsWhat level are the tickets that you could buy on the mailing list a while ago?
-
hizzmutherReally... it's NOT ticketmaster that does this. It's gotta be OHSAA. It's gotta be! I went to tOSU today -- the Monday after qualifying to buy tickets. The best I could do was all the way up top, and Row M in the corner, or the last six rows of the sections in front of the Division 2 mats. RIDICULOUS! I'll have to take my chances with the scalpers. Shouldn't parents be able to get tickets to SEE their kid wrestle in the State Tournament? Guess not.

Cliff notes version- If you don't know anyone, you ain't gettin 200's.
Gotta either go through a school or an official.
*who is the scalpers getting the tickets from? C-bus schools with nobody qualified?
Families who no longer have relatives competing and with ties to the school are screwed. -

You're right. I retract my comment. However, Derek just called to say, "Nice post."Bitterrunner-up wrote:

My father can not see from 300's. I may have to see if I can get 300's, but he gets to sit in the handicap....?tuskytuffguy wrote: 300 level is not a bad view at the Schott. I don't complain. -
1_beastBelieve it or not I ordered from ticketmaster the day after they went public...took several tries/cliks...but i needed 5 tickets....i got 3 in section 200...and 2 (2 rows closer in the same sections. on the D-III end. However if i wanted 5 together...i was wayyyyyy up top on the D-I end.
-
cruiser_961_beast... That's just because they know who you are. Anybody else watning 5 in a row could get them!
See you soon. -
Dad4SportsI need 2 tickets for Session 2 on Friday morning
Please send me a PM if you can help.....Thanks -
wrestlemom16I got one of the order forms in the mail back in November for Public Purchase and my brother has a PSL at the Schott, the best either could do was the 300s.
-
I Wear PantsWho gets the 200 level tickets? There can't be that many people who "know somebody".
-
sjmvsfscs08I always buy 300-level tickets for the first round anyway, it's never full. Scalping is the best option anyway.
While standing in line for tickets two years ago the one and only Cael Sanderson was behind me, it was more memorable than the tournament hahah -

If memory serves me, the Coach gets to purchase additional tickets when
he picks up his packet. -

seat poaching is a very common practice in the early rounds but be considerate and don't poach down in the 100's because someone is almost always gonna be coming for those seats, then we that actually have the seats have to constantly get up to let the poachers out. find a decent spot in the 200's and you should be safe till Friday night.bigdogdad wrote:

1_beastwhen you are really good at seat poaching...you can use your ticket in a mannerthat youu walk up..and get another poachers seats by pretending they are in yours....lol
(looking at your ticket and looking around playing dumb) "Umm I think these are OUR seats, Oh screw it WE'll just get the usher"
