You were supposed to ask Joe who, then I would have replie JoeMomma! Since that just didn't work there is no Joe that is out so everybody stop looking through the brackets now. -

visquest135-PL-2 Tim Grys Western Reserve Owens District (11) 42-5
I believe it is due to an injury. -
killerman1030Last I heard Div-1 Darby, Dylan DeWeese-140 (2nd) at Centerville Sectional has choosen to compete in another sport instead of the District Wrestling Tournament. Sure it took many hours of personal thought. I respect his choice, and wish good luck.
-
USMCdevil05lol! That is hillarious man. Isn't that kid at 145 though???? What sport? Boys high dive championship in canton?
-
killerman1030
An athletes personal choice is his or her's alone, I don't chide the athlete for that no matter what I may think regardless of what he/she decides, and I leave it at that. Ewing is at #145 for Miamisburg.USMCdevil05 wrote: lol! That is hillarious man. Isn't that kid at 145 though???? What sport? Boys high dive championship in canton?
DeWeese is a 4.0 student, and with long thought ahead he could see $dollar signs wrapped in a Bowling Bag, and not in a set of Headgear. Could be his Smart decision, but it's his decision. I wish him good luck in any case. -
GoldenBearkillerman,
I don't think usmcdevil was chiding the kid, just playing along under the premise that you were/are joking......you were/are joking aren't you? -
killerman1030
No I'll feelings meant fellas, as I am shocked with the "True Decision" as anyone else. The article is in the Dayton Daily News, now a few days old. DeWeese has been a 2-sport athlete throughout the winter, and a District Qualifier in Both sports. His choice was to compete in the District Bowling Tournament instead of the Darby Wrestling District.GoldenBear wrote: killerman,

Nick Fyffe-Senior, Lebanon is filling the spot at District. Is placed into the Sectional 2nd place spot vs Chad Jones from Marion Franklin.

Tony Meadall i can say to that is wow!
-
GoldenBearwow. Thanks for the clarification. best of luck to the young man.
-
Dad4SportsCanal Winchester - Junior 285 Nathan Pressley was unable to compete at the D2 Claymont District Tournament......Nathan broke his arm in the last 10 seconds of his semi-final victory at the Amanda Clearcreek Sectional....he finished the season with a 33-4 record.
-
snugglyhippoThat is too bad. He has improved quite a bit and will be very tough next year.

I didn't even know that until I got to Darby on Friday and saw tht he was actually scratched. Best of luck to the kid and I seriously thought you were joking. Sorry man. I have abuddy on the pro tour....and yes he does make dollar signs! So....go make the money kid, there is no "pros" in wrestling!killerman1030 wrote: Last I heard Div-1 Darby, Dylan DeWeese-140 (2nd) at Centerville Sectional has choosen to compete in another sport instead of the District Wrestling Tournament.
