BW v NA v OO

CaptJackNice job to the Big Walnut coaches and wrestlers. It was obvious that all three teams were well conditioned.
The younger kids showed some great balance, moves and confidence.
Well done Coach Moore and staff.
Jack
I don't have the final scores but I am sure the coaches will post soon. -
cruiser_96Big Walnut, New Albany and Olentangy Orange...

huntergreenI was very proud of the way our guys wrestled tonight. They all fought hard and represented themselves well. The dual with NA and BW was a good one and was very intense. Orange was just a bit too much for all teams this evening. They are in line to win the OCC in only their second year in the conference.
Good job tonight Eagles, be proud of the progress you have made and keep working towards the post season. -
CaptJackhuntergreen,
I was really proud of the way the eagles handled themselves with some of the judgments made by one of the officials. they did not get rattled and stayed on task. Well done. -
CaptJackAnd one of the best matches I have seen in a long time was Foley/Toprani. They were both beat at the end of the 2OT, and very little stalling.

bigdogdadUnfortunately as one post quoted "the season that never was" for BW. If it's not injury or sickness, it's not getting the calls to go our way. I'm not saying the ref's are to blame for our ill's, we just haven't seem to get the calls when they count for whatever reason. It happened Saturday against DeSales and tonight against NA. The "missed opportunities" would have made the team scores a lot different. But this young team of boys are becoming young men real quick. To the wrestler, this team is getting better every week.
I agree Orange is tough and has to be the favorite to win this division. NA wasn't too shabby either. When you can go 2-3 deep and not give up forfeits, that helps a lot in the dual format. -
Shoot and SprawlAny word on the status of the New Albany wrestler injured during their dual with the Pacers?
