USMCdevil05WOW! Nicely done by the young man. I would say that last weeks lose struck a nerve with the young man! Keep rolling on into post season!
Anyone have full results or box scores? -
rugbywrestlerHell of a win for both Jordan and the team

CthelitesTaylor pinning Heil with 3 seconds stands out. Anyone know the score of that match before the pin?
-
saltoTaylor was ahead 6-5 with about ten seconds left. Heil tried a lateral drop and Taylor countered taking him straight to his back for the fall.
-
USMCdevil05That is a big win for Taylor!
-
antonysharplesI told my brother the other day that I thought Jordan would beat Clark based on the fact that he has been out all year. It reminded me of when Harry Lester was coming back from a broken leg and got beat by Nate Gulosh.
-
USMCdevil05Harry Lester!!! That dude was amazing to watch!
-
rugbywrestlerJust curious, thought there was another Palmer boy, does he not wrestle for St. Eds?
-
USMCdevil05I know there is another one. Not sure if he is into the whole wrestling scene or not.
-
sehsguruHe wrestled off at 145. Haven't seen him anywhere all year though.
-
USMCdevil05Just not as good as the older brothers. That's a lot to live up to though! How would you feel being in his shoes! lol
-
Varsityfan32yeah really feel bad for the kid espcially having a father like theres with all that passion
-
salto
I don't know all of the details regarding the 3rd Palmer boy. But from what I can tell the kid is well adjusted and was just not as serious about the sport as Lance and Collin. He actually chose to not wrestle for a few years and then decided to try it again late in high school.Varsityfan32 wrote: yeah really feel bad for the kid espcially having a father like theres with all that passion
Why would you feel bad about a kid having a father that finds passion in giving his child the best chance to succeed ? -
Varsityfan32salto I didnt mean it like that I'm sorry if you took it that way, but you don't think everytime his older brothers bring up state championships and all there accomplishments don't you think he feels a little uncomfortable ?
-
said_aouitaI thought I heard somewhere the "3rd Palmer" is quite an accomplished soccer player?
-
snugglyhippoLast year, the "3rd Palmer" defeated Ryan Nakama (eventual state runner up, D2), so I would say that makes him better than 99% of all other high school wrestlers in this state. Unfortunately, it would only make him the 30th or so best wrestler at St. Edward.

Hangem08is there a reason the Clark-Jordan match isn't on flo?

I wasn't sure of your intent, thus the question mark...lol. I don't know, maybe he is gifted in something unrelated to athletics. I don't know, but just because one child(or in this case two) is a phenom, doesn't mean there is always pressure placed on siblings. I understand where your coming from though. I think th efact that he left the sport for a while may have releived some of that pressure and comparison. Maybe thats why he felt comfortable coming back to the sport after a haitus, without all of the expectations.
