Dad4SportsAC, CW @ TV is postponed until Saturday - weigh-ins 12:00 - wrestle @ 1:00 pm
Double whammy....not only all this lost practice time, but now CW will have to cancel its plans for the tourney it was entered in on Sat.....5 matches lost to Mother Nature....horrible timing at this time of the season! I assume the other schools will also lose other tournaments? -
bman618The tri-meet will be wrestled as follows:

USMCdevil05That is a shocker. I thought Hammy would pull out the win against Circleville. Good job to the boys in roundtown though. Any full results?

951123rdCongrats to Teays Valley on another league title.............The Indians were right there, but couldn't seal the deal. Good luck to all MSL teams as we head into the sectional.

Dad4SportsCongrats to the league champion Vikings!
Tough, tough heart-breaking loss for the kids from Canal Winchester....so close, but just couldn't quite get there. Each team won 7 matches, but Teays Valley won the battle of the bonus points. The Indians have nothing to hang their heads about though....they gave it everything they had. They went toe-to-toe two different times this year with the league's best.....
Now it's time to look forward to the postseason......Good Luck to all the MSL Buckeye wrestlers!! I know you will represent our little 8-team league extremely well!! -
USMCdevil05Today was one of the most amazing duals I have been a part of! All 3 teams wrestled extremely well and there was nothing but blood, sweat, tears, and glory left on that mat! The 3 teams that wrestled today will do great things in the next 3 weeks. Good Luck to everyone!
10X MSL Champs! Go Vikings! -

Agreed. I have to wonder if things could have been different if Amanda didn't give up 12 points in forfeits.USMCdevil05 wrote: Today was one of the most amazing duals I have been a part of! Great day of wrestling it was and good luck to all the wrestlers. -
USMCdevil05It is a shame that they gave up 12 points in forfeits. That coach has brought that little team along way in the past few years.

951123rdI was just thinking, there were a lot of very good individuals that wrestled in the tri at Teays on Saturday. How many do you think make the trip to the Schott, just from that tri??? What about the rest of the league?? I will start..
Canal:
Hutchins: returning qualifier
Rosch:returning placer
Bellomy: very talented senior who should make it this year
Pressley: 1 point away last year, maybe this is his year
Teays:
Nace, Luft, Luft, Graham, Liedecker
Amanda:
Gierhart, VanHorn, Wilson, Dilley -
redmanHow about a list of the top 3 finishers in each weight class.
-
USMCdevil05I think you hit the nail pretty much one the head. Ramey is tough from Teays, his weight at the district tourney is stacked. He iwll need a big upset match, but he has the capability. Morehart is tough also but again his district weight is loaded.
For canal I think the Brady kid has a shot. Pressley has an attitude problem and I think that is what will stop him. He lets his emotions get to him way too much!
The Miller kid from Amanda is a returning qualifier and should make it again. Chetneski is tough also.
All together I see a good possibility of 15 Qualifiers from these 3 teams. -
FIREBALL5152I'll take a stab at it.
Amanda
VanHorn - has a good chance to make it. IMO
Wilson - After seeing him wrestle Gresham (Goshen), I see him on the podium.
Miller - Podium
Canal
Hutchins - Should be on the podium.
Tullius - Should make it.
Rosch - Podium
Teays
Not sure, with them being D1 I don't know. Hopefully they can do better at the district tournament than the last couple of years. -
Snakeskins84Last year at districts TV finished 8th within a couple points of 6th..That is very respectable in D1..They had 3 qualifiers with a district champ and a couple of other kids were a match or two away..Look at the facts before making a blanket statement..Now two years ago they did struggle..Last year they proved they can wrestle with the schools twice there size..
