huntergreen26A good gauge of this sectional will be on Saturday at the All North tournament. Westerville Central, Upper Arlington, Grove City, Orange and Mt. Vernon will all be there this Saturday. A few seeding suggestions may be determined at Dublin Jerome next weekend.
Being the new blood in the D1 pool, I am excited to see the post season in central Ohio. Obviously, our competition got a LOT tougher, but man, it should be fun. Plus, I hear good things about this hospitality room at Darby! -
cruiser_96Darby hospitality room = proof God loves wrestling.

Though in all seriousness I would like to have as many qualifiers as possible, but my assistant and I joke by saying ideally you want 1-2 qualifiers that are right next to each other so you can spend majority of your time eating in the hospitality room.cruiser_96;1779344 wrote:Darby hospitality room = proof God loves wrestling. -
cruiser_96Ha!!!!!! And you aren't the only ones saying that. Too funny.

Dust_E_RoadsAt HWT, Teacher and Wunderlich meet (for the 4th time this season?) in the Finals with Teacher prevailing again. [Kind of reminds me of 2013, when Scioto's 285 Yoshi Akutsu entered the State meet with 5 losses, with 4 of them having come against Travis Gusan of Davidson]
I like Hutson (WN) vs. Whittier (GC) in the 3rd/4th match. If these guys end up facing off earlier, maybe Van Fossen from Orange squeezes in to punch his ticket after just missing the past 2 years. -
huntergreen26Alright, I get a little antsy this time of year and am wanting to get the ball rolling. I will take a stab at the top 4-5 in each weight class in no specific order:
106- Leapley (CCHS), Haist (MV), Hipsher (OO), Seibert (WN), Najdusak (GC)
113- Lakso (CCHS), Munday (BW), Farmer (MV), Snively (UA), Scherer (WN), Agyekum (OO)
120- Collins (CCHS), Harris (MV), Johnson (TW), Beatty (GC)
126 (deepest weight according to ITC)- Woods (CCHS), Colony (MV), Norris (UA), Grant (WN), Osborn (WK), Foster (BW), Hill (UA), Sparks (MH)
132- Mattox (CCHS), Haist (MV), Bogetich (WC), Alicardi (WN)
138- Wimer (CCHS), Tate, Coleman (TW), Halbakken (BW), Duzzny (WK), Potterf (WN), Haines (WC)
145- Wurzauf (CCHS), Gregg (MV), Green (WC), Jenkins (WN), Brashear (WK), Byas (OO)
152- Leapley (CCHS), Hinkle (MV), Broskie (OO), Kline (WN), Mayes (WC), Pisano (BW)
160- Cook (WK), Schneider (WC), Wallace (OO), Fields (CCHS)
170- Goldsmith (WN), Spurgeon (MV), Hipsher (OO), Van Sickle (GC), Brown (WL)
182- Knipp (OO), Bien (WN), Lamonda (WK), Stephens (UA)
192- Jones (TW), Malick (WN), Landolf (UA), Palmer (WC)
220- Houston (OO), Fickell (WK), Lagunas (WL), Stotts (MV) -
huntergreen26See above for 285

112in84Pretty sure Leapley is at 160...he made that move a 2 or 3 weeks ago, and he's had success at 160.
-
the comet plexyeah he made that move months ago. He has trouble with the stronger guys at 160 but he will go farther at 160 than at 152 in the central district. He is a SLICK tricky wrestler who can upset really good wrestlers and frustrate guys with his tricky style. He is in matches with high scoring. Ethan leapley scores more points a match than the cchs basketball team.
