From the flyer:
Formerly known as Vengeance Wrestling Club and run out of the Delaware Hayes High
School wrestling room, Horsepower Wrestling Club is a freestyle and Greco Roman spring wrestling club for all hard-working junior
high and high school wrestlers in Central Ohio. Sanctioned by AAU and USA Wrestling and committed to growing freestyle and Greco
Roman wrestling in central Ohio. HWC’s goal is simple: to get wrestlers better as they pursue their OHSAA, freestyle, Greco Roman,
Collegiate, and Olympic goals. We do that through intense training and ample competitions. HWC trains twice a week and competes
regularly throughout the spring. Tuesday practices are largely technique-based often with a guest clinician. Thursdays are dedicated to
hard drilling and live wrestling. There is always a great coach-to-wrestler ratio at HWC, which means more eyes and wrestling
knowledge there to help wrestlers master maneuvers. The cost ($125 for HS, $80 for MS) includes 14 training sessions; all instruction;
4 Central Ohio Competition Nights; AAU membership card (HS only); entry fee to the AAU Freestyle State Championships and Team
Ohio Qualifier (May 16); eligibility to compete for HWC at the USAW State Freestyle Duals (May 3) and the Delaware Spring Freestyle
Duals (May 17); coach representation at 10 Spring events (listed below); and a HWC training shirt.
