A Tale of Two Boys: Why Mental Toughness Is So Important

  • Old Rider
Great read! I am all new to wrestling as I played basketball during the winter as a kid and in high school. My 7 year old son came to me this year and told me he wanted to wrestle. I did not hesitate to sign him up as I knew early on that he was a "naturally aggressive" boy. He holds his own against his 10 year old brother (10 year old does not wrestle). He has wrestled a total of 5 matches so far and is 4-1. I love the intensity and rush I get when I see him wrestle. Really starting to love this sport. This article about mental toughness is one to share with all boys/teenagers and is a valuable asset in life!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the read! And even more glad to hear that one of your boys has chosen to start wrestling, and that you are starting to develop a love and appreciation for this great sport.
