HorseShoe289From Tonight's Program:
Tonight marks the third annual meeting of Coach Heffernan’s Pacers and Coach Moody’s Panthers since they have taken over at their respective programs. This tough OCC inter-divisional dual has not been without its share of fireworks. In their first meeting in 2012, the Pacers edged out the Panthers 37-35; in the last match of the night in front of a home crowd, Andrew Sierawski (who then was a returning district qualifier for Hayes and who went on to place 7th in the state last year) pinned Trevor Parker, one of Darby’s returning district qualifiers who was a ‘14 state qualifier. Last year, in similar explosive fashion, the Panther’s handed the Pacers a 32-25 loss in the Darby gymnasium when state qualifier Sean Black bumped up from 160 to 182 (via 170) to defeat Hayes’ state qualifier Sean Johnson. Tonight should be no less exciting with many potential elite match-ups!
