Complaining

fan63I'm tired of hearing about all the great athletes from middle school that would clean up in the state meet if they wanted to wrestle. I say put up or shut up. Understand the years of sacrifice and dedication from the whole family at this level first. Biddy and middle school means little against the big boys unless they keep wrestling.
-
xnds1fanboy you must have been pretty angy when you started this thread. You forgot a T in the title and added an extra F in the body.
-
fan63Yes. I guess we're cut from the same cloth, no R in angry. But you are right, it pisses my off to hear all the what to be's when were living it.
-
xnds1fanNo I just can't spell.
-
fan63me too

Joe DaughertyGreat thread! I can't stand hearing the parents of Johnny, whining about Johnny getting scrwed , by the reff! Suck it up and get better, so the ref can't make the call! As far as putting the time in goes, If yoyu aren't getting it now , you are a step behind! I drive 3 hours every day to get my son with the best. It is a commitment that the whole family makes!
-
fan63I really want to correct that spelling. It will drive me nuts.
We love this stuff, It's our life. We're doing it all. -
Fab1bGuys no cussing in thread titles and this is a HS section so keep the cussing down, I changed the thread title to complaining!
-
fan63Thanks, sorry about that.
-
Fab1bIts all good, I am all for discussions but in the HS forums we have to keep the language down, you have free reign pretty much in the serious business forum with the exception of thread titles.
-
fan63I agree, my apologies. That's a regular part of our vernacular and I'll refrain from using it again.
-
Fab1bIts a regular part of mine too
-
fan63Didn't want to be the big something.... Anyway, we got away from the initial thread. So what do you think?

Agreed!! Having four children and 7 sports in our house at one time made things interesting for many years. I should have kept track of how many miles we drove to go to extra coaching, just for fun. If you don't want to put the time in, stay at home, sit on your butt and play xbox or something. Don't EVER complain about getting railed because you didn't go the extra mile.Joe Daugherty wrote: Great thread! fan63Yes sir!
Wasn't that Gable? -
snugglyhippoA thread complaining about those who complain...classic irony, I love it.
-
fan63Bitc... I can't say that. Anyway, it doesn't matter.
-
Joe DaughertyThis is the best ever! I personaly love "Pain is just weakness leaving your body! " In the end , like my dad told me every day, " if yÓu don't want to lose bad enough , yÓu will do what it takes to win ! " This is what I am trying to teach my son at this point! Eat right, work hard and when you are done, push your self for 10 more minutes!
For all those parents that think I'm nuts 4 driving my kid accross the state for a practice, and teaching him to think before he stuffs 10 brownies in his pie hole, " see u in 3 years! -
fan63not complaining fat hippo mom, just stating a fact.
-
fan63I'm actually quite comfortable with we're I left it. Good night all and a happy new year.
-
CitybuckAre you saying Biddy(Youth) and Middle school wrestling means little ?
-
hizzmutherOh, I soooo want to complain, but I know I have nothing to complain about. Just savoring my son's two losses today with a great amount of pride and nobody that gets it to share it with.... That's my complaint.... nobody gets it.
