Initial thoughts; Hayes will likely nab the team title. Lancaster & Pick North possibly not too far behind. Some intersting individual match ups possible here. -

112in84Which weight class looks to be the toughest ?
-
bribacker51
145 looks pretty good top end with Miller from Lancaster and Kade from Tri-Valley off the top of my head both are top 6 at state to me.112in84;1572339 wrote:Which weight class looks to be the toughest ? -

I'm having a hard time finding a weight class that has more than 2 or three high quality wrestlers. It looks extremely disbursed in my opinion. The Sectional will have some really high quality champions, but none of the weight classes look especially deep to me.112in84;1572339 wrote:Which weight class looks to be the toughest ?
Kowalski (3V) vs. Miller (Lanc) at 145 looks like the highest profile show down, in my opinion. Unless I'm missing another good one somewhere. -
112in84Agree, Kade and Miller are top heavy....but UA is the place that's loaded for 145, six to seven deep.
-
Power half
What about Roney St Ch kinda hard to over look a state placer.112in84;1572369 wrote:Agree, Kade and Miller are top heavy....but UA is the place that's loaded for 145, six to seven deep.
138 seems light , except Demas. Jmo -
bribacker51Demas is not here he is a Coffman wrestler Rooney really has no challenge here.

cruiser_96Is Lieb (WM) at 126 or 132? If 126, he and Tyson (3V) would be excellent! Add in Brusco and I might stop by for the morning session!

lennyrox55
Lieb will be at 32. I know his schedule isn't too tough but he only has 1 loss and has been under the radar all year IMO.cruiser_96;1572393 wrote:Is Lieb (WM) at 126 or 132? If 126, he and Tyson (3V) would be excellent! Add in Brusco and I might stop by for the morning session! -
cruiser_96Those folks need to lower the scan level on that radar then!!! He's pretty good!

double unders 90I will say look for scioto to make some noise with a few of there guys. Jarry(182), Lumpkins(220), and Sawicki(285)

McCafferty (PN)
Thompson (L)
I thought Hammond (CW) was supposed to come down, but maybe not. -

Agreed. Rollo had a mediocre Cruiser Inv, winning 4-3 over the WC kid and being extended to the 3rd round by Bradley's JV heavyweight. Sawicki could make a statement here against Rollo. Could be a good one, hope they end up on opposite sides of the bracket because I'm not sure any of the other HWTs measure up to those 2.double unders 90;1572516 wrote:I will say look for scioto to make some noise with a few of there guys. 112in84Have Rollo and Sawicki wrestled each other this year ?
-
double unders 90
No not yet...but hopefully Sawicki will have his name known after the all north tourney this weekend112in84;1572686 wrote:Have Rollo and Sawicki wrestled each other this year ? -

Any time you miss a couple of weeks it takes a tourney or two to knock the rust off. I'm sure Gino will be back to his December form by tourney time. I think he's heads and tails above anyone else here. Sawicki has had a solid season with a couple of titles at D2/3 tourneys like Sally George, etc. Rollo is probably the top seed with Sawicki and maybe Eubanks (Reynoldsburg) as 3rd. Not much depth here that I've seen. 220 might be more competitive then we may think also. Sierawski (or however its spelled) Delaware is the favorite, but Lancaster, Reynoldsburg, Scioto, etc. have pretty solid kids as well. Perhaps second tier but competitive non the less. -
double unders 90How strong is 182 looking?

Delaware kid is a returning state qualifier at 195, Lancaster kid is a returning district qualifier (a match or two away from qualification), the Reynoldsburg kid has upset potential, and Jarry from Scioto has had a decent year. Not sure of the others though. As a whole this district seems to have one maybe two studs at each weight with some decent guys sprinkled in. If your an average to above average wrestler you have a good shot at making it out here. No real barn burner of a weight. -
double unders 90Watch for Wallace(160) and Vasser(152) to also make some noise for scioto here
