Central District D3 Ranking

A week late but here are some rankings. Some weights are pretty deep it was hard to put people in order, other weights were hard to name 3 guys. Didn't get a lot of response regarding an order so I did my best guess. The next couple weeks with state duals should help with team order, and there are a couple tournys the next couple weeks that could shake up individual results as well. If there are some names I need to look at feel free to post them so I can look into it for the next rankings.

After splitting 7 and 7 matches with top-ranked Hartley, I would agree on WJ. Certainly top 5, perhaps even top 3.

I saw that this past weekend. With conference tournys coming up this weekend for a lot of team and people dropping classes now, I'm going to wait and do another ranking after this weekend. There have been some big matches and shake ups the past two weekends since I've done these teams and individuals.

Not sure of the logic put behind the team ranking. West Jefferson has 6 wrestlers projected to place in the top three, placed 8th in the state last year and have won a few tournaments this year yet they are not even in the top 10 while your second ranked team has two projected placers? Did they stop awarding placement points at District? I also do not see Ratcliff losing a match before the Schott. He has recovered from his knee injury and is on a tear.

Last ranking...this one was real difficult to compose, between guys jumping weightclasses, and the head to head victories are hard to rank. For example 113 Cornell lost to Asbury who lost to Ross who lost to Cornell. All 3 are quality wrestlers so I'll mention them all with no particular rank. Also, weights like 132, 138, 145 in particular have several wrestlers moving up and down and I did my best to get the guys in a particular order but to be honest I just put them on paper. (yes, I'm sure my bias will be showing in these rankings, but I'm also not claiming to be an expert)
