Kevin Cleveland Memorial Tournament - 01/04/14
-
cruiser_96I'll love to type a few words about this tournament but alas, a family game of LIFE is a must. In the mean time... Semper Fidelis!
Teams:
Bishop Watterson, Canal Winchester, Columbus St. Francis DeSales, Dublin Scioto, Groveport Madison, Indian Lake, John Adams, London, Pickerington Central, Springfield, St. John’s Jesuit,
Upper Arlington, Van Wert, Worthington Kilbourne -
Dust_E_RoadsNormally a very nice tournament. They typically do a nice job drawing folks from other corners of the state for a different flavor (Van Wert, SJJ, JA, Holland Springfield). No one from the Cincy area this year though? The Mason B's had been there before.
Anyway, the folks at Scioto normally do a great job with the KCM. Nice awards too, if I recall. -
wraith51Great hospitality room too
-
maddog140Hopefully The reason for this tourney hasn't been lost or forgotten! RIP Kevin! I for one will NEVER forget you!
Excellence
Excellence is the highest quality of life one tries to attain. It is the reflection of one’s hard work and abilities.A person with Excellence does not need to tell everyone he has it,For it shows through in every move and action he makes.I believe Excellence can be switched with the word Pride.A person with Excellence has a positive attitudeAnd appears to have their nose and spirits a little higher than everyone else.Excellence is a principle that most men try to attain throughout a lifetime. The person with the most Excellence is the person who tries the hardest,Overcoming all obstacles and meeting all challenges.-Kevin Cleveland, March 1995 -
maddog140And if it were up to me I'd ask Cruiser_96 to read that poem before the start of the finals! I'm sure he'd be more then happy to do it!!
-
cruiser_96I most certainly would! But this year I'll be at Delaware Hayes for a JH tournament.
But don't think I won't recite this poem any number of times prior to tomorrow!!!
Excellence
Excellence is the highest quality of life one tries to attain.
It is the reflection of one’s hard work and abilities.
A person with Excellence does not need to tell everyone he has it,
For it shows through in every move and action he makes.
I believe Excellence can be switched with the word Pride.
A person with Excellence has a positive attitude
And appears to have their nose and spirits a little higher than everyone else.
Excellence is a principle that most men try to attain throughout a lifetime.
The person with the most Excellence is the person who tries the hardest,
Overcoming all obstacles and meeting all challenges.

Lake's 170 LJ Henderson was the KCM MOW.
More detail is on the wrestlingtourney page as note above. -
Dust_E_RoadsThere was also a rumor circulating that the more handsome half of the duo known as InsideTheCircle was in the house at 4000 Hard Road yesterday.
-
